If what you're saying is correct and unbiased, then this is quite ridiculous if it is driving away players. I've said this time and time again, we need a more even and consistent level of moderation. It's fine that different moderators have different styles, approaches and tolerance, however if it is upsetting players someone with authority needs to step in.

When I was cadmin I asked Token to a) Stop asking new players to wear bear skins when they joined and b) Move his "ted" talk to clan chat.

 

Since making head I still play on C every day and from what I have observed he has done what I've asked him nicely to do.   

 

I don't really think a public poll dragging him through the dirt is the right way to get him to stop, or whatever the goal of this is.  If anyone has some actual cases of harassment over the ted thing then please take screenshots and note the time and provide them to a cadmin.   They can review the server logs and see if there is an actual issue of harassment instead of antidotal evidence and he-said she-said.

I personally don't mind the Ted group, they havent bugged me upon logging in. It seems that there is some unneeded hostility between you two.

These are just a few examples.

 

If anyone has some actual cases of harassment over the ted thing then please take screenshots and note the time and provide them to a cadmin.   They can review the server logs and see if there is an actual issue of harassment instead of antidotal evidence and he-said she-said.

From what I've seen and have been told, Avada has told him before, several times, not to call him "Ted" when he logs on, and Token still does.

I'd have to agree with kitty and the logs she's presented in her post, since it seems to outline that regardless of Token being warned not to do the ted thing in public chat, he continued to do it.

If this is an ongoing issue and it appears to be by kittypuppet's logs, then instead of posting them publicly on the forum going after a fellow player, you need to approach a cadmin or a head admin about this. At the very least make a /modreq or contact a online staff member at the time. If no staff members are online I would suggest searching mumble or IRC, I myself am always in mumble and IRC and many others are to. So please bring this to the attention of staff if your being affected by it.

I believe that SirTacoface was approached about this (in fact, I've approached him multiple times regarding this as well), and he's not done anything about it. I'd be happy to see if I have logs which can prove my part of this.

 

I'm not sure if other admins have been contacted about this, but I'm certain that admins have been asked to handle this in the past (again, I'm not sure whether or not this is the case).

Honestly, what would a normal player do, report them for not joining the cult of Ted? I think we all need to take a step back here and look at this for a good minute and see if this is worth starting a thread about and getting admins' attention about some dumb cult that will die in weeks, if not, months.

I started a poll because it was suggested to me by a player since it'd be easier for me to gather people's opinions on it.

Token seems to be under the impression that people aren't really bothered about it, and instead of respecting people's requests to keep it all in clanchat, he still talks about it publicly despite it annoying the shit out of a good amount of players.

Shit, even one of them(possibly more) didn't know there was a clanchat.
