Tree Contest on PvE, leaf your mark on the next map!

As you know by the current rev we used a custom set of trees for the map… but ended up having initial difficulties with the leaves on rev start (which should be fixed before map launch next rev).

The other issue which left us stumped was the trees being difficult to chop due to the logs not being connected, ect.

 

This comes to the contest! We are looking for you all to build all of our trees for the next rev!

This will include all tree types; Spruce, Oak, Birch, Jungle, Dark Oak, and Acacia in all sizes, as well as others including Giant Mushrooms and Mossy Cobblestone boulders.

 

Requirements

 

Specific requirements, rules, and prizes will be as follows;

These are the biomes we are going to target, prefered tree types, density, and size.

 

 

Rules

Make trees fairly easy to chop down (i.e., connected log blocks). Only use tree related materials(Logs, leaves, cocoa, vines)

Please only build one tree per plot. You don’t have to fill the entire plot, but please use an appropriate plot size.

 

Small trees have a limit of 7/person - Plot size is 9x9

Medium trees have a limit of 5/person - Plot size is 13x13

Large trees have a limit of 3/person - Plot size is 25x25

XLarge trees are by request (message a PAdmin) - Plot size is 49x49

Massive trees are also by request. - Plot size is 99x99

 

The per person limits are up to changes, as more plots are able to be made.

 

Prizes

 

There will be winners for the best of each category. (Small, Medium, Large, XLarge, and Massive)

There will also be an overall grand prize winner.

 

Prizes are as follows;

 

      Category winners will get a custom gear care pack at the start of next rev!

      Grand Prize winner will get the above, a subreddit winner flair, and something else(sekrits)!

 

 

How to participate

 

Go to the Creative server by means of either connecting to c.nerd.nu, the lobby portals, or typing /creative on while on PvE.

From there you’ll need to type /mvtp world_tree_contest which will bring you to the plots contest world. Check out the plots, pick a size, and while standing in one of them you can claim it with /nerdplot claim.
