It is a set of configs for the Terrain Control plugin/mod that creates specialized terrain and map features intended to make the minecraft world more interesting and beautiful, and fun to explore.

I think it would be cool if we did a revision that is similar to how Rev 11's map was laid out. The first 0-1500 blocks would be normal/mild terrain, but then the further you went out the crazier it got, so that evnentually around 2500/3000 you have batshit cool looking terrain.

It only seems to be on 1.7.10?

You can generate the map in 1.7 and then use it in 1.9. That's how I did this revisions nether. I generated it in 1.8 since I didnt have 1.9 TC and then put it on the server.

the developer is working on updating it to 1.8/1,9/etc, but you can run the bundle of configs on a 1.8+ server with terraincontrol and it will still work.

The only major issues that I am aware of are: ocean monuments sometimes generate partially above water and the 1.8 stones (andesite/diorite/granite) do not generate. afaik the problem with ocean monuments is due to the sea level being lower than vanilla... but I am uncertain.

anyway, they're issues that I believe could be remedied with a little bit of tinkering if you guys find it appealing.

edit: https://www.reddit.com/r/biomebundle/ for discussions about it. the developer hangs out and answers questions often.

I actually used BiomeBundle not too long ago on 1.9 and tested it on 1.10. You must generate on 1.7, as both of the previously mentioned versions lead to each chunk generating a biome independent of the others. Like one would be ocean, the next mountain, cold taiga, mesa, etc. It was a mess.

Nether is a lot different than the overworld, a lot of changes have happened since 1.7. I can't say I'm willing to generate a very dated version
