Revision 33 Changeover Schedule

Hello Everyone!

Below is the schedule we will be following during the change over to Creative Revision 33

- October 12th THURSDAY @ 8PM EDT CHAOS (Survival Mode, World Edit Disabled, PVP enabled, Griefing Allowed - All other server rules apply!)

- October 13th FRIDAY @ 8PM EDT TNT PARTY (Creative Mode, World Edit Disabled, Griefing Allowed - All other server rules apply!)

- October 14th SATURDAY @ 8PM EDT Revision 33 Launch (Everything back to normal, with new map.)

NOTE: We will be making a separate post for the Speedbuild Arena Contest sometime soon! Please get your entry finished ASAP, if you haven't already!

Timezone converter

Here are some more details on the maps features:

  • Main World will be 15,000x15,000 blocks, and made with WorldPainter and WorldMachine.
  • Spawn City will feature Suburbs, Downtown, and Marina.
  • 2 Suburb plots, 2 Downtown plots, 1 Marina - Number of plots allowed in the beginning. Additional plots will be granted at admin discretion.
  • Cardinal roads will be established at the revision start. You may connect your city to these roads, but you cannot block or disrupt the road.
  • The CTA has a spawn station.
  • Redstone Playground and the Testworld will be transferred with their contents to Revision 33.
  • There is plenty of flat land for large projects/cities in Revision 33. There should be no need to flatten terrain features.

New things we're trying this Rev:

  • We will be introducing eight warp outposts at various points of the map, to allow better and quicker access to farther portions of the world! You may build around them, but you cannot disrupt or edit them.
  • We are changing our policy on region buffers! Details can be found here.
  • We will be alternating weekly between Speedbuild and Spleef.
  • We will be holding week-long build contests every week (a 5 day building period and a 2 day voting period, each weekly topic to be announced after Speedbuild/Spleef)
  • Nerdplots on Redstone.

So long as you don't actually interrupt the roads in any way, there should be no issue in changing their design, if that's what you mean.

And yes, but their region won't be massive or anything, so you can build right up to and around it if you want.
