I was banned for wordplay that hit the "homophobia filter." Specifically, a player by the name of "tyohn" was constantly asking "can I get op" over and over and over. If you check the chat logs, he was spamming and other members wished to have him banned (note the frequent use of "./ban" around 8:00 CST). The joke I made was in poor taste, and I would like to be allowed back on the server. I think it was quite clear I didn't mean to offend anyone, just to make a very lowball joke (and I shouldn't have gone for it). Thank you for your consideration. EDIT: and this goes without saying, but next time before I decide to say something witty I'll make sure it isn't overly offensive. Nothing wrong with a tiny bit of jest but it is clear this time I ended up crossing a line.
