MBoffin Posted June 6, 2013 Report Share Posted June 6, 2013 First time I've been on this end of the ban appeal. :) Sorry for any confusion. The ban message was, "Creating a blockspam build." I was totally confused what this meant at first. I thought maybe someone thought I made a hacked build of Minecraft that allows block spamming. Then I realized what it was. Back right after the update (after making http://i.imgur.com/VeiHx6z.jpg and http://i.imgur.com/lWR5MHq.jpg one day), I tried creating a new kind of art that I hadn't seen before on our servers. Basically it was what looks like an area of totally random blocks. BUT, if you looked at it from a specific angle, you could see through the random block placings and saw a picture. Basically, from a specific angle, the areas where you COULDN'T see blocks actually drew a picture. Of course, from any other angle it just looks like a giant pile of crap. So, yeah, I can see how a mod or admin stumbling upon it would look at it and think I was just being a spammer. Heh. Sorry for the confusion. That said, given the nature of all your edits and the confined location of these blocks, I was hoping that there was some explanation to this. Thank you for clarifying this build. This seems like a reasonable build to create so I've just unbanned you. My only suggestion for future builds such as this is to have a few signs around to explain the design.
