Guest
We'd like to invite you all to participate in the 1.9 sandbox server at x.nerd.nu The server is currently running snapshot 15w44a and you can follow the changelog at Mojang's website with instructions for how to get set up. This server has been set up so that we can all try out some of the new content shared through snapshots before it arrives in the form of an update. We are very interested to gather feedback in particular for the player versus player elements so that we can work together on a vision for survival. There have been a variation of ideas suggested so far but we've been lacking some of the experience of 1.9 which is where hopefully our time spent playing on the sandbox server will help us to fill in that gap. At the spawn location, there are a number of command blocks which have been set up to allow us all access to the latest items / equipment to try out. The map size is 4000 blocks. We'll be going by chaos rules, meaning that griefing is allowed: Be respectful and civil toward your fellow players No harassment or excessive trolling No bigotry / hate speechThis includes, but is not limited to, bigotry based upon ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, and religion. No disruptive arguments/discussions in global chatStaff will ask you to take these to private message or clanchat if you wish to continue. No public accusations of rule-breakingTo report rule violations, make a /modreq ingame or contact a staff member. No xraying/hacking/cheatingAny use of xray / ore detection will result in an immediate 1 month ban and rollback of all edits. No inducing excessive lagIn particular, do not allow huge numbers of entities to build up, e.g. by idling at a non-kill mob grinder or breeding an absurd number of animals. No spam or advertising'Spam' includes a high volume of lines and/or repeated characters entered into chat. In particular, non-nerd.nu servers should not be advertised in public chat. No posting personal information (i.e. doxxing) No offensive/inappropriate constructions or skins No impersonating other players, particularly staff If banned, no evading the ban - request unbans at nerd.nu/appealA minimum of 2 weeks will be added to the original ban length for every account used to evade a ban on any of our servers. Any accounts used to evade a ban will be banned for the same amount of time as the original banned account. Admins reserve the right to add additional time depending on the circumstances. Only appealed bans will be lifted. At the time at which an appeal is allowed or afterward, a player may appeal for their other accounts to be unbanned, and if the "main" account is unbanned then the alts are as well. Unbanning of all alt accounts will be done by an administrator or higher. At the discretion of an admin, alternate accounts could remain banned if we believe that the person appealing isn't the actual owner. Bans for the alt accounts will include the name of their "main" account. No public discussion of bans No “ban baiting”Ban baiting is enticing or aggravating someone into saying or doing something that will result in a ban – this may result in a ban for both parties. Map resets can happen at any time, especially if a new version is available for us to test or the existing map has been turned into swiss cheese. Please have fun and share your feedback on the forums or subreddit. Edited October 29, 2015 by Guest Updated for version 15w44a
