I did use xray on reddit's PVE MC server. Intentionally. Now it may look like I am digging my self into a hole here but... Ya I am BUT I'll get to the appeal part in a second I have had a great time on the server since I started playing probably about a month ago. I have met people I never knew and gotten to know them fairly well even thought they live about 2,000 miles away. The staff was very nice and stepped in when asked to. The map and all the builds on the map were awesome (this was the first "large" server I had ever been on)! I had fun building with friends and never really got the whole protections thing because I like to think most people playing have some ethics (basic respect for others builds). I have invited three friends to this server and they all agreed that it was a great place to play. Now back to the appeal side of things ( now that I have buttered you up =p jk ). Anywhom I had just gotton the x-ray mod for 1.6.2 and wanted to try it on a server. So of course I used it on yours being the only public server I play on. I mined up around 14 or 15 diamonds the day before I got banned (same day as installing the mod). I don't know why I thought it was okay (I suppose I thought since it wasnt a pvp server it would be fine). After being banned I thought more about this and concluded that it wans't fair to other players on the server that took time to mine for diamonds legitimetly (I have gotton maybe 4-6 diamonds legitimetly this way made a pickaxe). I would love to have the ban lifted and be allowed to play on the server once more. I am assuming that the diamonds were removed (which is hands down the right move) but everything else was "earned" by my "work" (hahah it's so funny to think about the time we put into MC compared to other thiings that could be done). Anyway there is a use for x-ray mods but not on public servers. With the into. of versions into MC I will use an unmodded version when I play on the server (aside from optifind which is ((as I understand)) legal). (I meant to post an appeal the day after I was banned when everything was fresh in my memory but ya know school and all) I have good ethics and would never want to greif or troll another player. I (aside from using x-ray on your server) play fair and square. (---- edit 2 below ----) FYI: I already went and read the rules on the wiki page (usually rules are just common sense so I dont read them) but I know that this is your policy and I agree to them.
