  4. [PMC] Grinders and public access

    I agree with zomise. With the way the rules are now, one could easily follow the rules and get 99% of the drops.

    If I made a grinder in which the items fell into a dropper. The dropper had a button wired up to redstone in such that a player could only press the button every minute and the dropper spits out one drop. The rest of the drops feed on through into my chests. This would be a 100% dick move, but it still follows the current rule of allowing access to the drops of my grinder.

    Only interested if the eventual plan is to migrate from mumble.

    Having multiple options will only serve to fragment the already small percentage of the community that use the services outside the actual game sever

     

    And with that said, I have used Discord and still prefer Mumble. The main advantage to Discord is people can connect and not have to install anything. The downside to that is, those using the web client have no PTT function if the browser is not the active tab. The chat features I would never use anyways. We have in game chat and an iirc I rarely use. I dont even read the chat that appears in mumble.

    I would volunteer but I won't be home yet so no lappy :( I also can't drop off my secret Santa, when is the deadline?

     

    I am sorry you cant make it. I would change it but its one of the only free dedicated times I could find on my schedule. And Secret Santa deadline is Dec 22nd

    We will be hosting it at the Christmas Faire -125, -580 or just /place  


     

    Events include:  

    • Carousel Rides with dunk tank challenge  
    • Ice Fishing Tournament  
    • Sled Racing Tournament  
    • Prize Giveaways and a Raffle
     

    If you signed up for Secret Santa then you can drop of your present in the gingerbread house while you are at the party.

     

    Mods and Admins: Please respond to this post if you would like to volunteer to be dunked in the dunk tank challenge. 

     

    Please note the Christmas Faire is being finished up this week. If you stop by early you may not see a fully decorated tree :(

    It should be noted that just because an X-ray player did a lot in a town, does not mean they (the town) are aware that he is an xrayer.

    Which is the case for the town in question.

    I agree with Troop. I couldn't care less if the xrayer gets mad his stuff is deleted and quits the game. However, we should look into methods that do not punish the unknowing town.

  24. End of Rev Mini-Golf Competition

    Who: You.
    What: Mini-golf Competition.
    When: This Friday immediately after tiC and ice's Firework show.
    Where: Piraeus Mini-golf Course.
    Why: For fun.

    Rules: Lowest score wins. You throw the snowball towards the hole by pressing "q". Once the snowball stops moving you pick it up and throw again. If the snowball does not land in water you take a penalty and have to try again. For more rules, see the rule board at the Piraeus Minigolf Course. We will be playing from the gentlemen's tee

    Anyone wishing to compete in the mini-golf, please let me know.

    Right after we finish watching the firework show we will head to Piraeus to start the games.

    Also if anyone wants to help judge that would be great.
    Last time we did this we had three groups of five, with a judge in each group.
