ROCKONN
Just want to make a note that the Creative LiveMap should be manually restarted. Since it was put up (I believe two months ago), the servers have had their share of rollbacks, C in particular. Unfortunately, as we've observed, the LiveMap only tracks player changes, and any rollbacks (or command edits of any kind) are not updated on it. As a result, many past areas that've been rolled back appear to remain destroyed or spammed. If we restart the LiveMap manually, this should be rectified. In the future, once all the issues with 1.7 have finished being worked out, perhaps we should look into some sort of patch for the LiveMap to recognize these changes. This's relatively unimportant, and should in no way take precedent over current issues, but would be helpful at any Tech's convenience. slide
I've gone ahead and kicked off a full update of the live map. In regards to DynMap actually being able to track and update from the WorldEdit and LogBlock. At the moment it doesn't look to be feasible so perhaps a workable solution would be to simply schedule a full update once every week or so. ROCKONN
That sounds reasonable. The LiveMap still shows extensively ravaged areas for me. Is that just me, or has the LiveMap yet to reset? http://nerd.nu/maps/creative/live/
slide
It's still working, it takes a really long time to run, I'll let ya know when it's finished.
