Area around spawn nether portal has been claimed for what seems like weeks now, and has been untouched

Within the current rules, land claims in those coordinates are not valid. The area around the spawn portal is generally done with a reasonable respect amongst individuals and groups.

 

From what I recall, driftingnomad was working on that and he was last on just this weekend. Have you reached out to him yet?

Nope, wasn't really sure who claimed it, other than the fence. I'd just like to drop some nice floors and walls/fences to keep swarms of zombies out really

Driftingnomad was very accommodating for me when I was connecting a road up. Maybe given them a bell and see how they respond?
