There's a lot going on right now in my life that I feel I need to sort out, it's about time blocks came second instead of first. I'll be around of course, mainly in mumble but not really in-game. I'd like to stay listed as a moderator, but for the next few weeks I probably wont be active as a moderator to help with a lot of issues and modreqs going around. I'll be around on irc if you want to find me, or sat in afk/listening to music on mumble. I can't guarantee I'll always be at my computer though.

Yeah, you'll see a bunch on Survival that i've claimed at any one time for either one of two reasons. The first being that i'm waiting on another staff member to discuss it/confirm details for, or it's easier to hold onto that req whilst I wait for the player(s) involved respond to me (e.g. harassment, ongoing land claim dispute). Some people will see their closed modreqs, but not their /mail and it can be frustrating and open up more issues if they create new ones whilst it's still being sorted. I can't speak for others, but if I have a modreq claimed, it's almost certain that there's a good reason i've not closed it yet, so i'd appreciate leaving any i've claimed alone.
I'm mostly just talking about ones for minor grief and placing water/lava on creative. Just the ones that don't require discussion.

Not a clue, never really cared for teddybears.
Because they're so friendly and happy like carebears, but then again I've been around since Pve rev 1 so that makes me a mega carebear/llama/daycare kid

I've noticed people leaving modreqs unclosed, claimed and logging off. It's not a massive issue, and if people have timed out, or there's some sort of emergency then that's perfectly fine. But I just wanted to remind mods to close modreqs if they're done with them. If you feel you can't handle a certain modreq then you can always unclaim it, same for if you're going to log off and feel you don't have enough time to deal with the modreq. I've only spotted it a few times now and had to deal with the modreq myself. There's also been a few griefing modreqs where I can't tell if the mod fixed the grief and forgot to close the modreq, or it is still griefed and the mod didn't get to it and it was minor griefing.

Don't blame me if you don't like this question but y do u get a new mc account every year or so?
1st one was hacked, they didn't have an easy way to retrieve them then.
2nd one was for personal reasons, I didn't feel comfortable being under that name anymore, there's more of a back story to it that I'd rather not explain.
I assure you this is my final account, I'm happy under this name and I'm with the way things are.

I'd like to start off by saying thank you for being honest about not reading the rules.
I banned you for crop grief on S, when I checked your edits I noticed that you've broken 31 potatoes; as shown in the 3rd image down on the uploaded album. But you had not replaced any of them.
On Survival we allow people to use each others farms as there is no protections, only if they replant what they broke. Unfortunately you had not :/
I also found some minor broken spots of carrots if you look at the first image. As this is only your first ban I'm going to give you a shorter ban length
Bump your appeal on the 18th of August to be unbanned.
Please make sure you only bump your appeal AFTER 48 hours has passed.

What I said is what I hear about sometimes.
If everyone at MCPublic based decisions off what they hear about, then S wouldn't exist, we'd have to turn C into a daycare center and PvE would need more rainbows and sprinkles.

I'm going to quote back what I said in mumble to Tornado earlier. This is a COMMUNITY, without players a community isn't a community. So the opinions of the players should be valued the most. Obviously that thread did have the dramatastic downside to it, but there was some real mature, and productive conversations going on. I believe those who were being mature about it had some very valid points on possible improvements for nerd.nu. So I don't think this thread is doing much harm, it's a way of highlighting those productive conversations, as long as everyone is sensible in this thread then maybe some issues can be discussed in a civilized manner.
(Writing this while very tired, I'm hoping it makes sense)
