As you can see from the title, I got banned A while back but I was told by an admin that it will be 3 months. However, around only 2 weeks on I could access the server. Either the Admin was "Scaring" me or the ban had some typos or technical difficulties. Anyway that story wasn't about the ban ima tell u guys about now. So, since I could early access the server it has been 2 years. (1.8.1 beta was first ban) and now; I've decided to visit the server for once in a long time and 3 days after I visited it, I got banned??? Here are a couple of reasons I would NOT like to do anything to offend anyone or spam or even greif so as to get banned:

 

1. I found a friend that I haven't seen in over a year.

 

2. I love playing with my cousin

 

3. It's been a long time

 

PS... The day before my ban I had tried the server and  it worked. The day after is obviously the day i got banned (yesterday - 16th June 2014) but I wasn't on the server yesterday however my cousin was on the server with 2 laptops. He must have been on my account as well as the one on the other laptop (His account) so as to not ban him, I dont want to reveal is In Game Name.

To sum this all up, my cousin was on my account on the server when "I" griefed or spammed or whatever and I do want to be unbanned PLEASE! Ive been wanting to somehow become an Admin. Looking at the first part of your appeal you state that several years ago you were banned for 3 months but could access it before then. While that ban is old and I will disregard it, in the future if you find that you are unbanned without appealing and before your time is up then it is considered evading your ban and your original ban time will be significantly lengthened. If this ever happens again make sure to contact a admin. Please keep that in mind for the future.
 
You state that it was not you on the account and that it was your cousin. If this is the case then you are responsible for your own account. You are responsible for watching over your account and making sure that it is secure, that includes changing your password to prevent your cousin from getting on your account. Your ban length will not be adjusted for you not watching over your account.

I then warned the entire server that I had had enough and that we would be changing the subject away, not doing so would result in being kicked. I understand ur point. However, I dont need to manage that account because it's half mine and my cousin. Before the account burnleylad was created, me and jake shared an account as we paid half price each for it ages ago. Now, burnley has his own account but he didnt give the account 100% to me because it is still haf-his. So, on taht day, he decided to use two computers both of which with different accounts and be immature. Thus why he typed slowly on each accounts and moved step by step. I then came into the room then he said, "i got banned" I asked him what server he banned me on and said. "This Reddit one" therefore, i am not responsible in any way for the happenings on the server and misunderstand why I'm banned and not burnley; unless he was banned.

If the account is half yours and half his then when he plays on that account you have to be willing to accept the punishments he gets for the things he does. If he spammed and disrupted chat on your account and the account partially belongs to him then the actions his commits will still be punished as he is still a owner of the account.

 

I would also like you to note that after your unbanning, if your cousin attempts to use your account to circumvent his ban then your account will be permanently banned for ban evasion. I suggest trying to work something out to get full control of the account or find some way to get him not to play on it. It might also be wise to simply just buy your own account.
