Guest
Hello all, I'm passing on a message on behalf of our Tech Admins who have noticed that some people are appearing in some of the alt lookups we've been running alongside compromised accounts. While this could mean nothing, we'd recommend that your account security is something that comes to the forefront once more as a preventative measure. Herr_Fawkes
What does this mean? And how can one tell if their account is compromised?
Silversunset01
tl;dr change your password just in case. I would imagine if you are particularly concerned one of the techs or heads could check your username against what they were looking at. Safest bet is to change your password, regardless of whether you suspect it or not. You never know what happens on the Internet.
Guest Former Staff
Based on what the Tech Admins have been looking into, it seems more of a false alarm but we wanted to give a shoutout just in case. At the very least this has served as a reminder to be as secure as possible with our accounts from time to time. :-)
