Today I logged on to find out that I had been banned from the Discord. No information was given to me prior. Possibly irrelevant: The evening before, I was approached by Head admin Y and Head admin X for a private conversation; they were concerned about somethings I said last month regarding a player on the Chaos/S server. There were claims from that I had doxxed this player and posted their twitter. I explained that there was a strictly verbal conversation about this person's twitter but I personally did not post anything in chat nor any links, nor did I recall anybody else doing so. Additionally I showed where I had edited my initial comment towards that player to be less antagonistic, and later made a public statement that this player had changed their behavior and was no longer being a nuisance and that I wasn't encouraging people to go against that player. The admins were satisfied with this response. Then and now, I do not believe there is any issue with this topic, but I mention it because I had this private discussion with two head admins the night before the Discord ban. Upon learning of this Discord ban I immediately reached out to Head Admin X for information and received this response: As far as the calling out that one player for griefing on Snapshot, we're definitely square [7:22 PM] Last night, I didn't have any other specific things in mind, but it looks like some other things have come to light since. I wasn't the one to pull the trigger on the ban, and I was actually hoping to reach out before they did it to give you a heads up [7:22 PM] A lot of it may have been things that you intended as jokes, but weren't taken that way: "The conversation X and I had with you last night probably should have happened a while ago, but we didn't have much time in the last few weeks. The ban's only on discord, and is for an accumulation of a few things: -light racism - comments about "seal clubbing" and "turban motherf------" -I think someone already talked to you about some of those after it happened [my edit: yes this was covered approx 6-7 months ago] [my edit: removed profanity] -homophobia: calling other discords "one of those f------ gays" - I get it, it's more fun to have one big voice chat and not 10+ separate discords for individual towns, but as a community we've been warning/banning people for using "gay = bad" for 16 years now [my edit: removed profanity] transphobia - [my edit: removed for priacy]'s not a "he", my man. If you're not into other pronouns, my personal favorite is "you". Calling someone by one they don't like isn't something to laugh at" I was then told the duration of the ban was intended to be 2 weeks and that I could make a post here to appeal. Firstly, I would like to say that I love this community and the people in it; y'all are my friends and I enjoy spending time playing the game and chatting with everybody. Saying that, I realize that I have said things that a person not familiar with me might interpret as offensive or insulting. In particular, I am aware that I have used the word "gay" in a derogatory sense in Discord voice chat. Not to excuse myself, but I am of an age that this usage was "normal" gamer slang and I don't always manage to correct myself before I say it. I do apologize in chat every time I slip as I do recognize that it is impolite and against server rules, and I continue to re-educate myself that that language isn't appropriate anymore. As to the light racism, I do recall the first comment and had already discussed that with Padmin U many months ago and considered it concluded. It wasn't even in Discord however, it was a remark made entirely in in-game chat. I intended it to be a joke, but I can see how it could be misconstrued and I had already apologized to all parties involved months ago. Again, though, I point out that this was not in or related to Discord chat in any way and don't see why it would be relevant. As to the second comment "turban motherf------", I don't recall saying this (not saying I didn't, just don't recall) and having nothing else to say except that yes, I do recognize that those words are problematic. Homophobia addressed in my first paragraph above. As for the transphobia issue - I have known the person referenced for a long time, most of that time prior to their transition. I know that this person no longer identifies as he. It is also not my intention to be rude to this person, as I enjoy their company. I have messed up their pronouns - and have had a conversation directly with that person about it. But I find it difficult to stop my brain/mouth mid sentence to change the pronoun of somebody I had known for 5+ years in the old way. And for whatever reason, I find it more difficult if they aren't in the conversation. Is that wrong? Yeah, it is, and for that, I'm sorry and strive to do better. But I'm not the only one that has that problem in Discord, far from it, so I don't understand why I'm singled out. In conclusion, I freely admit that I do not always say the correct or polite things, I recognize that, and that some of these things have been on the edge or just afoul of the server rules. But I am appealing this ban because I do not believe that any of my conduct warrants a ban, particularly the day after a private conversation when NONE of the "accumulated things" were mentioned to me as issues to correct, and was not given any other prior warning. A simple chat on the side would have been enough and a great reminder - I even said as much to Head admin X after our conversation the night before. Further, one of the "accumulated things" was settled months ago and had nothing to do with Discord at all. Hi Nose64 You were banned for xraying ancient debris in the nether. All of your ancient debris edits were bordering lava and were dug directly to which is an obvious sign of xray. You are responsible for your own account so please ensure it is secure to prevent your brother doing this again. As this is your first offence you will be unbanned 7 days from now. As per our xray policy all of your edits have been rolled back and your inventory/ender chest wiped.

PS: All i am asking is if you could not perm ban me no mater if you believe me or not i will take a regular ban as a punishment for getting in to the argument

Hello it has come to my attention that i have been banned for the use of xray but i would like to claim i did not do this. the previous day i got in a argument with my older brother witch resulted in my brother taking my laptop my theory is he problaby x rayed for Ancient debris but if you still do not believe that it was not me that is completely fair and i am sorry for wasting your time

i was repeatedly kicked by the anticheat for the litematica easybuild function. A mod told me that this function upsets the anticheat. At that moment i thought that the problem was with the anticheat not that using this feature in itself was a problem i understand that now and wont use it again in the future
