Hey, just wondering what the progress on the 600 loop CARBON is and if there are any address assigned yet. 2ndly pico now has a carbon line run to near the ++ corner of the loop and i was wondering how we go about connecting and if there is a good place connect to? planning on having three lines at the end of our line 1) CARBON line to go W/S 2) CARBON line to go N/E 3) dumb line to pico.
  2. Pico is building a station that is CARBON based. though there are 32 buttons in the station, 10 will be for local lines. ALL our rails in the local area to pico need to be underground and I was planning to put a distribution hub in near our main station. this hub would look at the address of incoming traffic and direct it either north east or west (there isn't really anything south of pico). The location of this is yet to be decided but is likely to be around 1000, 30, 1500. Can we get some document set up with the relevant address of different towns. Is it possible to group the addresses to reflect the rough area of where the destination is so that redirecting is easy.
  3. because TC areas area difficult to expand would it be possible to have the inverse of this rev (rev 11), TC in the central area and vanilla around the edge allowing further expansion later in the rev if wanted.

I thought that this area would be more for beginners how are learning red-stone the "play area" would be located so they could try out the designs within the area of the tutorial/model red-stone but most of the area would be the final designs along with some descriptions of the individual components within it. or at least that is what i was suggesting on reddit and thought it matched up with this? The 4x4 piston door build is on c.nerd.nu at -515 (70) 605 though i warn you this is a design area and looks pretty damn ugly!

Because of the heavy use of rails, especially for pve, I would suggest having a seperate section for the various rail station designs possible along with the cart dispenser systems and the way rails interact with eachother and redstone. Specifically about the 4x4 doors, i have a design that works well on 1.5.2 that i have built on C in the pico planning area. It is possible to use a mod called schematica that allows the user to see the outline of what they are building as a guide when placing the blocks. This is a great mod for complex redstone but requires forge plugin.
  6. I think this is a fantastic idea! having part of this area set up with redstone tutorials would be really helpful for some people!
  7. Is mining for clay at the bottom of the ocean using clear water regarded to be the same as diamond hunting in lava? or quartz hunting in the nether with the same feature?
