Thank you to everyone's who's built a lobby for the contest! There were quite a few submissions, however didy and I have narrowed it down to the top 5 based on level of completeness and adherence to the rules.
Here are photos of the finalists, however it is highly recommended you go to c.nerd.nu and visit /warp lobbycontest to see the full builds as these photos do not give the entire picture. I have set up warp signs for the finalists builds.

The suggestion that we put a link on the header has been made before - i've only just barely figured out how to add a sidebar photo, so if someone can show us that we can totally use the header area instead of taking up a sticky.

Zomise had mentioned for the last staff meeting to use it for announcements as well (for things like winners of contests or things like the new creative testworld)

Seeing as October had a lot of events running at the same time and we kept ending up having to handle multiple stickies on the subreddit I threw out an "October Events" sticky.
My question is this:
- Is this something you feel would be useful going forward
- Should we house the post entirely on the subreddit (which limits our formatting options)
- OR should we house the post on the forum and link to the subreddit (which gives more formatting options)
I've got ideas for how to do it, but i am looking for any thoughts you may have.

In this draft it is ambiguous whether the current practice of moderators or other staff creating nomination threads without the name being in the applyformod file is still possible.
In this draft it should be clarified how long an interval must pass before a player can be nominated if their previous nomination has been denied due to no comments, majority neutral/negative comments, or "specific reasons for not being made moderator"
It is desirable to have clarification on what the "specific reasons" may be and who puts those forth. If it is head admin discretion, then that should be clarified.
The PDF didy created states "Staff create nomination threads as usual"
As for the length of time needed to pass between a nomination being denied and a new nomination will depend on the reason for denial.
"Specific reasons" could be anything - A few things that come to mind would be severe or recent misconduct. Often times people will have reasons for saying no to a candidate there is no way to specify all of them.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the minigames map contest! It's been an awesome time seeing what people have built for the server!
On a more important note: we have two winners to announce!!!!!!
For the best Halloween themed build: Abitcat
AbitTheZombie!!For the most technically playable build: _Ferg
Winners maps will be put up on the minigames server and their heads will be put on the minigames lobby.
Other maps that are deemed suitable for use will be added as time becomes available, so finish up those builds! There are a bunch of maps that look really promising so we are going to leave the plots open for people to finish their maps.

Its a bit complicated for a poll since i'm looking for day, time, timezone, etc.

Alrighty then, it was brought up at the community meeting that there would be interest in a designated minigames night for nerd. I know we have a *ton* of time zones represented so i'm looking for input.
When would be the best night for people to do a regularly scheduled minigames night. Saturday night is bad because of speedbuild on creative and sunday tends to be spleef on p - so are there any other suggestions?

Apologies, there were some topics i missed adding. I'm not sure what you're looking for discussion-wise, if people want to save copies of build schematics they can do so whenever they choose.

We have reviewed your appeal with staff and come to a decision. At this time we are willing to unban you with the stipulation that *any* bannable offense you commit will be met with a 1 month ban, and any further bannable offense after that will put you back on the long-term ban list. We are doing this in the hopes that you can show you have changed and are willing to abide by the rules of the server.

It would be nice if we had a 9 trophy stands, where the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place builds are copied after each round. This would allow us to view the winners from each week's set of rounds at our leisure once each competition is completed..
They usually post the prior weeks winners photos in the next weeks announcement of that helps.

2016 Lobby Contest - Voting!

Apologies, i knew i was missing a bit in the post.
We plan to use the top three lobbies voted in the rotation with the schedule posted after everything is completed. Top winning lobby will have a longer use time than spots 2 and 3. All finalists will receive honorable mention in the lobbies regardless of their standing in the poll (and we may choose to use the other lobbies in the future)
Also before anything goes up builders will be allowed to "finish up" anything they hadn't gotten a chance to (we want to make sure all of the details they'd intended are there).
