I made a couple quick tools for looking up users previous names if they changed them and have received positive feed back and the suggestion to post it here. Hope you find it useful.
Lookup webpage - Enter the username you want to search for here. See this example for BlueMC
Auto-lookup macro - When users join the server the macro will check for previous names and output them in the chat box after the join message. Looks like this: This macro is included in the "RosePack" a modpack appropriate for P and C. Here is the "mod" version that includes watson. If you want to use the auto-lookup but not the modpack it requires:
