  1. Anticipating the rash response which may be posted by people who don't understand the positive consequence of doing this, we should all agree that transparency in the community isn't a bad thing at all. I think the admins and mods should definitely give this serious thought since this would be an extremely easy and effortless way to show that you guys are willing to provide public information in regards to "behind the scenes" work.

  2. In my eyes (and from my experience with running smaller arena events on S during rev 27) player ran events are better ran when they are ran completely by the players hosting them. As much as admin help and support is awesome and extremely helpful, I think letting the hosts of the event distribute prizes and run/enforce the general rules and what-not (all created by the host) wouldn't be bad. With that being said, I don't think admin endorsement is a bad thing, however I feel that excessive admin assistance has consequences which may result in the player part of player ran events being undermined in unintended ways.

I had a couple of questions from your initial post: Would events ran by players (regardless of whether or not it's on one of the servers nerd.nu hosts or if it's on a steam based game server) be endorsed by the admins? What would it take to be endorsed? Would there be a specific process with rules requiring you (the host) to do specific things in order to be endorsed? What is an admin endorsement in your mind?

I'm liking the fact the events server is becoming more open- we'll be looking forward for these kinds of things to begin to take place.

  3. Hey, I'm requesting to be unbanned from both in-game and Mumble. As per this comment, my re-appeal date was one month after my original ban date, May 2nd.

In contrast to my previous comment, I'd like to make it clear that my future intentions on the servers are not to be disruptive or rude. I've re-read the rules and the community interaction guidelines, and I plan to abide by them to the best of my ability.

    Thanks

  4. I thought there was a tagging system available for you to use when you post something, which in my opinions fulfills the purpose of defining which server a specific post is designed to be for. I don't think adding an additional sub-forum would be necessary since this tagging system exists already, which would help define which server you're posting about.
