Several people pay for 2, or even more, accounts. There are several reasons to use alt accounts which I will not go into here. There has been evidence in the past proves these accounts were used by the same person so these accounts will remain banned.

To me it means you made no real effort into your ban appeal. Shows little into your sincerity towards wanting to actually be unbanned. Add that using the direct connect button on Minecraft 1.7.4 doesn't always connect to Bukkit/Spigot 1.7.2 servers correctly and returns the error "Unknown Host"
This is an error with Bukkit itself. I believe that they are aware of this.
