  1. Suggestion:

Allow us to use colored text on signs.

redwall and I were discussing this the other day and he was throwing around the idea of players being able to access EasySigns SignText only on signs you've placed. There was some blah blah tech admin talk about using lb (I think) logs to show you've placed it before being able to edit. That also gets around the grief factor, because a griefer would have to break and replace the sign someone else placed to edit it, so there'd be a lb log of the sign being broken.

    EDIT: Wrong plugin, derp

  2. Is an E portal really nessissary? I don't know what you have planned for the future (and I hope it will be something spectacular) but for the last year and a half we haven't used it besides 2 days. Can't we cull the E portal and the admins can add one floating somewhere when there's an event on?

  3. Requesting a general clean up of the gaming sub-channels.

    -Battlefield 4

    -Europa Universalis

    -League of Legends

From what I've personally witnessed, no one uses these channels for their intended purposes. They can always be added back in the future.

Requesting a TF2 channel to be added - we play this on a regular basis.

    Thankie <3

  4. I'd really like to spawn on the portal of the server I just left so I automatically log back in when it's up. Then if I'm idling in my grinder for 20 mins while I make lunch or brew a cuppa I could just leave mc running without having to worry about relogging.

The only problem I see with this is that the portal doesn't close instantly when the lobby closes.

  5. In rev 12 and 13 we had doppelganger trade signs, where you could trade in padmin kills for certain items.

Padmins, could we please bring these back, for resources such as sponge?

I know this was created to introduce 1.7 items that weren't in 1.6, but sponge is a highly sought after commodity, especially in a world that has a large chunk of water. I can't think of any other blocks that could be included in these trade signs, but maybe there are other items that people want that are very rare.

EDIT: Horse armour is another thing I'd like to see.

  6. Hi guys!

Quick poll to find out what your preferences are with lobbies. Zburdsal and I have been working on a couple and are information gathering to see what the community prefers.

Keep in mind, lobbies can be player submitted. If you would like to submit a lobby design just talk to a member of the admin team for further information.

  7. If some individual was to build something over the custom lava lake surrounding the farm, I would obviously modreq that as grief as it is breaking both the visual design of the farm as well as the functional workings of the farm and I doubt any mod in good conscious would deny such a request. And if that is so, that any build in the area would be considered grief of the farm, then it only follows that the area should be able to be protected in the first place.

One would also think this applied to terraforming for iron grinders. Seneca's iron grinder area has been cleared, terraformed and fenced off, but a region protection for the area has been denied and people are starting to build in the area, their doors screwing with the villager mechanics for the iron grinder.

  8. (Sorry, can't quote from the device I'm using)

    >If you follow the rules you won't be seen in the ban appeals section. It's quite simple.

I kinda have to disagree with you here; there's absolutely no way that staff justly ban people 100% of the time. People have been banned for doing nothing in particular, for example; Segadude20000 was once banned simply for being present in a particular incident where a few people were breaking a rule that only came into existence after said incident. Sega was actually AFK when he got banned, might I add. There were about 6 people in the area and the only people banned were myself and Sega, (the ban on me was justified) however two other people were doing the thing I was banned for.

This is an example of why the ban appeal system should stay as it is. I remember what you're talking about, and if the bans weren't made public then it wouldn't have come to light and could have been swept under the rug.

  9. The more I think about it, the more this tactic strikes me as a subtle way of publicly shaming the person. Especially since the ban appeals are visible to everyone.

It's not. It's transparency for the banning moderator/admin, so they're not accused of banning unjustly.

The current ban appeal system is in place so the person who broke the rules have to acknowledge what rule they broke, proving they have read the rules and understand them.

If you follow the rules you won't be seen in the ban appeal section. It's quite simple.
