I'd also like to point out that the people voting for 10 second cool down, or a lower cool down would be the ones abusing it to escape from pvp.
I'd like to also point out that the majority of voters for 60 sec are the main PvPers and Vultures, or in Monroe's case, the #1 PvPer who spends hours and hours on the server each day.
10 seconds is already too much to escape pvp because 1. You are a sitting duck until it happens 2. if you move, it cancels.
It would just do nothing but create inconvience for those who use it to go to spawn. Spawn is pvp and the trails leaving out of it are pvp aswell.
Increasing time is pointless.

I agree with natdog, setting any area near spawn pve could make it SUPER easy to avoid combat.
Well, thats kinda what people want when they are trying to trade their stuff without having to worry about the vultures constantly spawn camping.
Auctions appear to be a lot more popular this revision, with most players making use of them for purchases.
And shops are suffering. That's because there is no protection. People aren't going to go there if they can get killed when trying to trade.

Winners circle, Something unique in server, In-game prizes.
-
Alright. You caught me. I understand what I did, have read the rules and I pledge not to do it again.
-
I don't see bringing outside prizes, especially cash, going smoothly with server events. The amount of drama that can possibly surround events with misunderstood rules, glitches, bugs, etc etc etc, would be even greater if you start putting up real money for people to play for. Yeah an admin has the final say in situations like that, but we have all seen how that's gone before when it's come to even relatively simple situations such as bans. It was talked about to use money for advertising for bringing new players IN to the servers. One big drama event like that could drive many new people right back out the door.
Don't forget the admin hunt fiasco on PvE
It was a dispute over a spawner and it resulted in a few good regular players leaving and not looking back.
Do we want this to really happen on a bigger scale over some money?

"Cash prizes" seems like a gimic and a shitty way to use possible emergency money for the server. Even if it is a small amount, This does not strike me as a good idea.
We donated money to keep the server running healthy and bring more players in.
Giving money away is just a plain stupid idea. If you want to do that, then you are just better off giving us refunds.
Steam gift cards or not, this is a bad idea.
1 year is a long time for such a tight budget of running costs, maintenance, event organizing, advertising, and emergencies.

I'll be back on August 7th then.
I'm going to PM you deets

Alright, but why the 1 month ban? I've never been banned before and at the worst was a warning for minor griefing because I took sand from an area that I didn't know was claimed.
Compared to other x-ray bans, It just seems excessive, which is why I am concerned and not happy
-
Thats unfortunate. By explaining what I used it for and why it doesn't work well on this server was good enough answer.
Aside from that, May I have you relay a message for me?
-
Well, this way of publicly going over things is unprofessional as it just becomes the shame corner for others to see.
I am limited on what i can see due to server conditions. Can i try to find a spawner here? Yes. Can i do it? Not really because server conditions make it very difficult to do. Sometimes it works and most of time it doesn't.
Now, I will say this. You may give me the ban length, but my final response will vary depending on the length given. I will not discuss this anymore until a final answer has been decided.

Cave exploring. You cant use this exploit to find specific things, only areas to explore.
-
Welp, I didn't expect to end up here.

This has zero relevance to the topic, and the entire sub-forum.
FFFFFFF I forgot to put text.
What I meant was expanding nerd.nu to this, but looking at the response of others, this doesn't look like a good idea right now. It would be best towait and see when it releases to the public.

Even though it was a small event, I'm glad that everyone made it for some good ol fun!
Congrats to the lucky players who took home a nether star! (there were 6 total)

I think you meant, only sticks.
fixed

Rules are no swords or arrows. Only sticks.
Armor is permitted.

PvE Server
Pinata event you say? What could exactly the pinata be?
I'm glad that you Asked! The pinata is a wither! :DDD
We all bash the pinata to death and whoever gets the nether star gets to keep it!
As of now, there is a total of 18 skulls, which will make up 6 withers. You may donate more skulls to keep the party going! (Donation chest is infront of Avalon Town hall. Avalon town hall is at 2500,-2500)
And afterwards, I'd like to invite you to a firework show By setting off about 4 stacks of fireworks.
This event will Take Place at the Pyramid of Inferno and the firework show will take place in Avalon.
See you there!
XOXO -Steve

Add a special area to a part of the map where you can play minigames (Like a railway that leads you 1,000 blocks out of the map) to games like what we had during CTF. It would give us variety and keep alot of us from being burnt out and giving something to us out of the usual.

Avalon here. All building has ceased and the town hasn't seen progress in a month. Not having a neither portal doesn't help either.
People just begin the server by portal hunting and thats it. And then the town building happens when people give up on it and/or settle near a portal.
The portal system needs to be overhauled or have something that accommodates the growth for new portals.
