Does this have anything to do with the s players building on the c server?
IMO, if the build is really far from spawn, it shouldnt matter what they do inside their own land.

The don't be a dick is mostly used against undersirable players that havent broken any rule.

Donations to this server are definitely NOT tax deductable, they don't meet the criteria posted by the IRS to be able to be deducted from your income taxes.

I don't really have anything to add, just that I agree with you that the 1 strike policy is a little extreme and should be done away with. I see it a LOT of times when people say "homophobic" things and are insta-banned. That to me is just ridiculous. Especially when the majority of the time when someone says something that could be considered homophobic it isn't meant to be homophobic, it's just used as slang.
The rules are very clear. It doesn't matter if it was "unintentional" or an "accident", the person still deserves the ban. Also, saying that they're "british" isn't an excuse.

I for one, blame the player.
If they considered reading the full rules page and wiki pages regarding block edits BEFORE joining the server, they would clearly see how the rules are laid out.
It doesn't matter if they might be "server hopping with friends to find a nice server with a friendly community to play on" or whatever, it is their responsibility to read ALL the rules so they don't get banned.

I wanted to build an easily defensible base during the war against the Brits, when we weren't fighting the war against them, literally EVERYONE on the server would play KOTH at my base. That stopped when an admin threatened to ban everyone that was using the trapdoor glitch to get to the top for pvp-logging and other reasons.

I don't see how it can take anyone more than 30 minutes. Most other servers have very clear rules that about these things. Also, "Don't be a dick" is extremely subjective.
That's different, although laws arent clearly stated, they are clearly Defined.
But that rule isn't clearly defined in any way like the rest of the rules in the Universal Rules section of the RedditPublic Rules Page.
If it was clearly defined, this thread wouldn't exist.
