  1. I will be importing whole designs for the first few days only, since I'm only now posting this. I'll put the stop time at Wednesday, Jan 22nd by 10PM CST. I however can import small individual pieces later on, just not whole designs.

    If you don't mind, could I ask your reasoning for such a small time frame? The contest goes until next month, why make the deadline for imports so soon?

  2. Personally, I feel there are times when it is okay to run, and times when it is not.

     

    An example of a reasonable time to run is when you are being 2+v1'd, it is likely that you are going to loose that fight, so it would be stupid to keep fighting imo.

     

    If the grind wasn't so annoying to get more armour back, or to repair a set, I think a lot less people would run.

  3. Claiming land on survival forces you to have the resources to border it up. If it were a forum post you could just say "I claim a plot next to spawn from (0,0) to (500,500) square"

     

    And as djt pointed out, not every player that joins the server comes onto the forums, I think it'd be hard for new players to understand they have to come onto a website to claim their land.

  4. Separate the community how?  The community is already separated by multiple servers so why would separating the forums be any different.

     

    If people care to look at what is going on in a different server they can by all means click that subforum.

    I can't answer that question as that's not my opinion, if you take a look at recent threads, you should be able to find it.

  5. I semi-agree with subforums per server, but that has been discussed before and people thought it would separate the community too much.

     

    In regards to the land claim section, how exactly would that work? I feel like land claims are often a touchy subject that normally need to be discussed in private between those involved.

    Firstly, we'd like to say thank you to everyone that attended the last meeting. If you missed it you can find the follow up post here with a summary of what was covered.   7. This could be solved by players not having to replant crops making players who make GIANT FARMS responsible for maintaining them if they want to.  

     

    I wish i wouldve saw this thread before i made mine.

    I think the grief bait rule right now mainly revolves around ore doors and things like that rather than farms. I've never found big farms to be much of a problem in regards to grief bait.

  8. After talking to Dray about this, I think we're going to set one up in both locations for you guys.  That way it can be easy for all of you, please be advised though, using this sign for the purpose of combat avoidance will not be tolerated.

     

    Let me clear it with an S admin first to be sure though.  <3

  9. They wouldn't be protected though, as I have never seen anything protected on S except, spawn, the main arena run by admins, the public arena, clan hall, and anything else not built by players. Everything player made remains unprotected

    I believe this is a follow-on from the meeting where we discussed letting public builds that fit a strict set of rules be protected.
