With this post i know my firework making rear better get to working because it seems the end is on the horizon- as for ideas and suggestions everyone's seems to have some merit and I can see the validity in most of them, tic will tell you my ideas are usually far outside the norm , I've never colored inside the lines but here is a few of mine. I do hate that after the initial rush people seem to just disappear until the the end of rev is posted, i know everyone hits the ground running with portals and end dragons dancing in their heads and I am right there with them- id hate to lose that rush but an idea that i had that may encourage not only a good restart but continual play through out is to have all events, spleef, pvp, build/ design tournaments etc have a merit system and portals will be awarded at the end of a rev based on this to Cities/Towns. The winning cities are granted the portals to find and claim and no switching Portals if you claim it. Once claimed a portal must remain to that city. If points are earned until the end this may encourage more involvement. Everyone likes to be rewarded and lets all admit we all have a healthy competitive streak so i say play on that. Encourage/Reward ( I do miss the admin events, and Holiday events with mob drops , I'll never forget riding on a bat or being attacked by 5 charged creepers ! ) I do think that's whats missing, our working and playing together, the events that had us checking to see if we got a brick in our inventory when we heard the wither these shenanigans gave us a sense of community and was just plain fun. Thats what Mine craft should always be Fun. It doesn't matter if your 10 or 100 we play this game we all love because it's challenging and fun , it doesn't matter that my boss's grandson said to me recently " What?! You are to old to play minecraft ! " That little brat -I'll never be to old ! and if he'd meet me in a pvp arena I'd take his head :)

I agree with this 100% - I love all the events i've been lucky enough to be part of and wish there were more: Holiday events, Admin hunts, Pve Arena ( go team red ! ) any event that brings the map together is awesome and 100% fun. As was mentioned in an earlier post rev 11 The Creeper Grinder hunt was one of the best times Ive had in any rev. Tic and I searched like everyone else for what seemed like forever and when It was found the whole map rushed to the site and we worked together all through the night to get it up and running. ( The fact it was found less that 300 blocks from our base still makes me rant a bit :) ! We're a mismatched group of souls here in minecraft, The Builders, The Treasure hunters, The Inventors, The Designers etc and what we all have in common is We love this game and We love to have a good time. My ideas are broad but with a common thread To have events that brings us together as a whole and that bridges our interests

I like the principle idea of this, a lot actually, The stealth and cunning it would require would be vastly entertaining - I see from the posts that this has been discussed intensely and I'm not sure of all the ideas that have been bounced around - but expanding from flameoguys's OP of " and possibly becomes a colony of the victor town." would it work to be like the game of Risk where once you attack if you defeat ( capture the town core ) you now own that section of blocks and it is now part of your holdings this would continue till the final raid where there is only one Town that controls the server therefore ending the rev- starting over with the New Rev and New Colonies- Like in war it becomes about Strategy who do you attack and why-

Its an insane, frustrating, fulfilling, awesome community this server is. and yes we are a true community. We celebrate the good times, grieve together when the news is horrible. We party like rock stars and squabble over just about everything and this is why we are there for each other even if we're having a bad day, bad week or year. I had my sword out cause I had killed a skeleton outside the gates and i was killing cows as we mated them for food. - i accessed chests cause i was looking for wheat to mate the cows. I thought all blue team could access any chests. I had been cooking steaks and placing them in a chest Tic had put near the cow corral we had built. i don't know what survivalfly means.

Not sure why I am banned- was playing in the CTF , had taken a friend some carrots, came back to breed cows and was disconnected . when I tried to come back in i had the message Banned: Hacked Client nerd/nu. I've never caused trouble and to my knowledge the few who know me in PvP , like me and see me as a productive player.
