I'm in the middle of writing a song for a video about the Aether to the tune of Hotel California. Not my best work, but here's what I've got so far: In a dark Nether Fortress, Where the the Blazes do creep. Past the legions of Pig-Men, Where there's nary a sheep. I believe that was due to the 24 carto issue. If you recall, 24 & 23 overlapped for a time, the part that's currently missing appeared on the 24 map. Perhaps it was lost in translation?

Tough one. Most satisfying build would be the Nu Gundam I made 2 rev's ago. http://redditpublic.com/carto/creative/c22/carto/index.html#/1429/64/1744/-6/0/0 Coordinates 2270,1930 It was, until my most recent one on rev 24, the most frustrating of my builds, as I had multiple issues with things lining up correctly. At one point, I had to completely start over. Nevertheless, it stands as the largest complete man-made (non-spritecraft) pixel art ever to grace our servers. Depends. For smaller stuff, I just doodle in-game and go from there, like with the floor design of my Veil of Tears cathedral (Rev 24). For my Gundams, I watch a LOT of anime. I sketch out a stillframe from the show, transfer that to graph paper, play with it a bit. Then, I either try to copy it directly into minecraft, or copy it into my Paint program, pixel by pixel. I'm a strong believer that SpriteCraft and other such rendering methods cannot make something truely one's own, and is a similar crime to plagerism.

Wassup. I'm ROCKONN, C's my kingdom. Find a giant robot (pixel art or 3D)- It's most likely mine. Find a relatively large, detailed, unfinished building, it's most likely mine. Find an overcomlicated redstone system town, most likely mine. But yeah, Pixel Art, specifically of Gundams or classic game sprites, are the majority of builds that I actually complete on a Rev. Ask me anything

Definitely something we need. Only issues: What to put in it? What to make it in? What music to put in it? Who to make it? Well, I've got two of those relatively planned. Firstly, for the matter of content, we need to look at the best of the best from each catagory of building. We want awe-inspiring builds, from this Rev & previous ones. Stuff like the spawns is good, or large community builds, like Dome 6. We should try to put in as much as possible. Secondly, music. I can think of nothing better to use for a C showcase promo than Journey of the Sorceror. Excellent song, completely instrumental, perfect timelapse/showcase material. So here's what we should all do: Go find the best builds you can on the old revs, or on this rev. Comment here, naming your build, noting its coordinates, noting which rev it's on. If possible, provide the name of the builder (just for credit where it's due) and an image/2 of the build. We'll also need someone with sufficient editing skill to create this masterpiece. I'd assemble it, but my editing equipment is 2 states away. Go forth, young minecrafters!
