.-. If you read any of the posts you would understand that this is unfair to ask of people, people aren't going to up and leave when their other friends also play on here. Then there's the others that have been here for so long and don't want to leave because it's an investment of their time and interest. I only speak for myself, but Nerd is quite important to me, I met a lot of great people and made a lot of great friends. (hell, I wouldn't even have met kitty if I wasn't here) I've also invested quite a bit of time and effort to it, I am most definitely not going to get up and leave all of it just because I don't see eye to eye with a staff member. No, I'm going to stay and continue my efforts to improve things here because I know that Nerd is an amazing catalyst for people such as myself to make friends and wonderful memories, even if they do take place in a silly block game, or through a dumb conversation on mumble. Don't give advice without taking such factors into consideration.

This is my problem with the Head Admins, I already learned the first time I had a conversation with you that it's quite apparent that you're willing to listen to any and all players when it comes to this. But I can't say that about ANY of the other heads since Barlimore. (Maybe Thrawn but her presence even then was waning) Cyotie is rarely ever around and if he is it's for some permaban or to lock a thread, maybe delete a subreddit post. MrLoud is everywhere, but getting him to even talk to us is a fucking nightmare, let alone have a coherent conversation with him. And I've had minimal interaction with Scher, though from what I've seen thus far his stance isn't all too different from your own. I don't think it's fair to you that you have to deal with the brunt of everyone's opinions. My earlier post was merely to point out how the way you went about handling the appeal only put you in a bad light. And I appreciate your clarification, I'm not really a fan of absolute statements like that. I really don't care about the "toxic" crap because I'm pretty sure it has nothing to with the term itself and rather that group of disgruntled players. It's origins lie in the neglect that both S and C had in comparison to P, as well as the clash of cultures, mostly from S' dynamic group of players and P's less outspoken ones. Unfortunately for everyone involved, there's nothing we can do about any of the past decisions of former staff members, what happened happened, and all we can do now is move forward. But at the pace we're currently moving at, nothing will change.

The only casual "fuck you" I got out of his thread was when he one upped you by not linking a shithole adware infested website, and linked to YouTube. The rest was just fact, after fact, after fact. The last part of his message is just because he's aware of how futile his appeal was. That's a shitty response, several players have been a part of this community for much longer than many of these head admins, and they still want to contribute and help out in the miniscule ways that they can and just because they don't agree with you you expect them to leave? That's just stupid. Yeah sure, we can't be run by the community, because democracies when it comes to things like this are a shitfest, but jesus fucking christ, tons of people want to stake a claim in helping things out and they either don't get listened to, or get shut down. No one as far as I know (except for maybe Toby) has specifically stated that they want Nerd's staff to cater to their own personal desires and if you think they have then maybe you yourself are going about things the wrong way. So many things never get done because any group of players or moderators can make as much progress as they'd like in one field, but the brick wall of head admins doesn't let any of that come to fruition. Since when have your interests been above anyone else's? You'd be no different than any of the rest of us if you didn't have your silly title.

See, the problem with this is that a lot of us don't really trust any of the head admins and even then if we trust one more than another, half the time they're never even fucking around to talk to. I'm also quite tired of the "tell a head admin" thing, in my experience, nothing ever really gets done about it (and if it does no one fucking tells us when we want closure) or things get worse because of it. I like it when accusations are made public because then the admins HAVE to do something about, why? Because everyone that knows will remind them every chance they get as opposed to keeping it in private where it's a hell of a lot easier to brush it under the rug. I getting really tired of having to keep track of all the pms I get sent just because it's somehow inappropriate to talk about things like that in public, and yet we humiliate players in ban appeals? If you really want people to be completely responsible for their words and actions, then they need to understand anything that they say or do will be made public.

In my personal opinion I can give two shits about being labeled toxic or whatever, what I despise more than anything is that a silly label like that is enough for someone to completely disregard anything a person says just because they can't sprinkle sugar and rose petals on top of everything. Gonna have to disagree with you there. I've seen several posts ignored merely because of how it was expressed. Darkelmo's topics are a good example, his thread became less about what he was actually talking about and more about how he was going about saying it.

So Eehee likes to use colourful language, as do I, why should it fucking matter? Grow up, words are onky offensive you choose for them to be, this a community that is mostly comprised adults. Unless someone explicitly states that X person is a [insert whatever amazing insult you can think of right here] with the intent to hurt a person's feelings, then it shouldn't matter how many fucks are hurled into a conversation. Even then anyone with a smidgeon of maturity should be able to take an insult and brush it off. Also, since when has it been a requirement to change our personalities? That is actually fucking stupid, and I despise that about a lot of players. I am completely within my own right to dislike who I want and treat them with the amount of respect I feel they deserve, that being said, as long as don't go out of my way to make that person's life a living hell then nothing should be done about it. I'll use Admanta as an example, he literally indentifies himself as an asshole, and he wears that badge with a ton of pride, and he's made the friends he's had because of it. Can he be a bit of dick at times? Fuck yeah, should he stop playing here and change his attitude simply because others don't appreciate it? Fuck no. FUCK NO. It's ridiculous to even think that that is a possibility. What we need to realise is that we aren't clones of each other and we're never going to be, some of us are dicks, some of us are pushoverd, others are reclusive, and many are outspoken. No one like Britney Spears anymore and her sister got preggos at a young age and made Zoey 101 get cancelled so we don't like either of them. A toxic person is one that negatively affects everyone around them. I have yet to meet a player that fits that description. Therefore we should stop using it in the context that we currently do. Just because someone is an asshole consistently to you, doesn't mean that they don't deserve to play on these servers alongside the friends that they have. And if you don't agree with someone, have enough self control to not make it personal. You play with your friends and I play with mine, if we have different methods of enjoyment, then let us enjoy it. If it truly offends you then either ignore it or freaking ask us to respect you and stop. I swear if people could just fucking confront one another in a civilised manner instead of telling everyone else how much they dislike one another we wouldn't still be having this stupid discussion.

Regardless, you shouldn't have made a post that you knew was going to upset others, especially if you were going to delete it. What purpose did that serve? Yeah we get it, a lot of people don't like you and you don't like them either, keep it to yourself. No matter how you say it, what you did only caused a negative impact. Not to say that you're to blame because everyone else involved wasn't in the right either. But your post was pointless.
