    Things I'd like to see:

     

    I like the natural terrain, but not so much extremity to it - maybe make some parts flatter

    Or have like, a small mountain range on one side of the map, flatter terrain in the middle, and oceans on another side

    (If need be I can draw a sketch of what I mean by this so you guys have a visual of what I mean for this ^ )

    A separate world for PVE planning, Redstone, and build tests 

    You could have it so that the PVE plots get wiped after a month or so of non use

    Finally getting rid of those highways \o/

    I'd stick with the 6-wide cardinal roads unless you're going to make CTA an official thing

    No "Spawn city", but maybe have it so that no builds are allowed within 100-150 blocks or so of spawn

    You could have it so that speedbuild winners have their builds displayed around spawn

    Fewer but bigger oceans - It's getting a bit crowded on the waters due to how small they are

    A bigger initial map size during launch - With the new playerbase, you might want to do this

    From an anonymous C player who's too much of a chicken to say it:

    I want to see mods and admins that answer modreqs asap and not after 4 hours of being online doing nothing

    How do you grow a community if you essentially ignore any community feedback or never consider any community suggestions?

     

    The PvE server is thriving because the PvE admins listen and interact with members of the PvE server. Why is that completely off the table for the s community?

     

     

     

    This is true for C as well. When Jchance was given cadmin status, first thing he did was give us what we've been asking for, for so long - WorldEdit

    Not only did it make us happy, but it essentially brought C back from the dead, and we've slowly been gaining more of a playerbase.

     Did you ever ask him nicely to stop? Did you ever ask jchance or anyone who is playing often with a position of authority to nicely ask him to stop? 

    Yes, we've all asked him to stop, and then it turned to telling him to stop.

    Yes, we've talked to the mods about it before, but no one's really done anything about it, except telling them to make a clanchat, which they won't stick to.

     

    I don't know how many fucking times I have to say that. 

     

    edit: Also the purpose of this thread was to collect opinions via a poll, but since jchance didn't want to lock the thread in risk of the poll being unavailable, I figured I may as well do it and deal with the consequences later.

    Is this actually a serious thing that is happening? People are getting pressured into changing into bear skins? If not, what happens? I'm curious. Honestly, what would a normal player do, report them for not joining the cult of Ted? I think we all need to take a step back here and look at this for a good minute and see if this is worth starting a thread about and getting admins' attention about some dumb cult that will die in weeks, if not, months.

     

    I started a poll because it was suggested to me by a player since it'd be easier for me to gather people's opinions on it.

    Token seems to be under the impression that people aren't really bothered about it, and instead of respecting people's requests to keep it all in clanchat, he still talks about it publicly despite it annoying the shit out of a good amount of players.

    Shit, even one of them(possibly more) didn't know there was a clanchat.

     All the ted players consented to switching to bear skins.

    Yes, and then you'd complain when they switched back to their normal skin from their bear skin.

    These are just a few examples.

     

    If anyone has some actual cases of harassment over the ted thing then please take screenshots and note the time and provide them to a cadmin.   They can review the server logs and see if there is an actual issue of harassment instead of antidotal evidence and he-said she-said.

    From what I've seen and have been told, Avada has told him before, several times, not to call him "Ted" when he logs on, and Token still does.

  12. Opening feedback from the head admin log

    I heard a lot of complaints about JA, it wasn't some golden time before then (and I think that use of her disapproval is in very poor taste). I also firmly believe that words a new player can see in chat, within seconds of a join if they are unlucky, have a much bigger effect than them being around long enough to find out head admin actions. It doesn't have to offend them to see that it's not an environment they want to be a part of.

    I was only saying what was expressed to me - don't take it as my personal opinion.

     

    Personally, I feel like the second part of what you said depends on the age of the player. A kid would probably get upset and leave, while someone older is probably more likely to stick around depending on their personality. If they stay around long enough to find out that the head admins aren't doing things that would be deemed "correct" or "appropriate", they would probably leave and tell people not to join because of the way things are run. I've seen that happen, and it's prevented a group of people from joining to begin with.

     

    I would also like to point out something:

    From what I've seen, Nerd is concerned about gaining new players. What value are new players if you don't strive to keep them? If you're more concerned about gaining people than you are keeping them, then what point is there? The more you aim to keep people, the more those people are likely to bring in new players.

  13. Opening feedback from the head admin log

    I can tell you from experience that an equal, or possibly even higher number of people have left Nerd due to being unhappy with the Server/Head Admin teams.

     

    Survival used to reach 200-250 players a night, where do you think all of those players have gone?

    I've known of 2, maybe 3 people who've left because of "trollish behavior" during the past 6 months.
     
    I know of around 10 - 15 people (possibly more) who've straight up left/stopped attending frequently due to the way the staff handled things within the past 2 months.
    I haven't been around very long (joined February, active since May), but I do know that many many people have expressed two things:
     
    1 - Everything's gone to shit since JohnAdams fell ill
    2 - JohnAdams would disapprove of the way things are being run 
     
    I was told that admins are supposed to take up the same behavior as the previous ones, but that's not what I've seen from what's been expressed to me. If that's not a hint that something's wrong, I don't know what is.
