With name change being a thing/becoming a thing, how will you guys handle it in the case of bans? I'm not 100% sure that you guys ban by IP, considering proxies and universities/schools sharing IPs are a thing, so I would like to know, for a peace of mind, how you would go about handling it?

*sigh* Well... it was a good idea in my mind </3 I just hate talking to brick walls (people who go afk without notice)

I used to play on a server where /AFK was enabled - basically you enter the command and it tells everyone you're AFK (*<player name> is now AFK), and when you come back you re-enter it and it pulls you out of it (*<player name> is no longer AFK). Maybe even have /AFK move you to spawn or even the lobby, and when you re-enter it it essentially spawns you back in your previous location (/back basically)? I feel like it could be helpful. Would it even be possible to find a way so when you do /list, it shows who's AFK and such? I feel like that could be super useful.

Might've been a coincidence. I was out at the second expansion border and lost a good half hour or so work of digging up the area to expand

Yep, I got the same thing. Then I spent the next 10 minutes refreshing my server list because it couldn't find a connection. I heard that 2/3 of S got kicked as well about a half hour ago

If this happens to me again, would you like me to just leave the area alone and not fix it myself? Also maybe some of the chunks are corrupted?

I wonder if a DDoS could cause something like this? What did you guys do to solve it when it happened then?

Are each of the servers hosted on separate machines? If so, I'd look into it being a possible hardware issue. If they're on one of those sites that hosts stuff for you, I'd contact them and have them take a look. Actually, even if they weren't on separate machines I'd look into hardware just to be on the safe side.
