    I've set up the regions for spawn, made the jail with its applicable region and warp point, and mostly finished the admin cave. (It could use a little more decoration, probably, but that's not high on the priority list. It's got the basics though. Chest room, hot tub, jail.)

    So, as you've probably heard, we're switching over to chaos rules today and plan to have the new rev up sometime on wednesday. (That's wednesday for us Americans, your mileage may vary.)

     

    We (your friendly neighborhood sadmins) have been working on setting up the world for the impending rev. There's a dev server up, and you're welcome to come help if you want. Just bother one of the sadmins to get whitelisted and then do /server survival-dev to switch to the dev server.

     

    Last I checked, the roads still weren't laid fully (unless I'm mistaken), so that's one thing that needs doing. I don't think we have an arena picked out or pasted in yet, so if you have a schematic or world save with a design, we could probably use it. (If all else fails, Mrloud has a build he can upload and repurpose as an arena.)

    While you say you "won't do it again," you have a very clear history of this sort of behavior. You were recently banned from Mumble for repeatedly posting unsolicited NSFW pictures and harassing a member of the staff who you have some sort of vendetta against, and there was also a recent incident where you and some associates mass-downvoted every forum post another player made. In the case of the Mumble ban appeal, you were rather belligerent and disrespectful. This constitues a clear pattern of disruptive behavior.
     
    I'd like to hear your reasoning for why you should be unbanned. Given your history, why should I believe that you won't go back to posting offensive things and harassing other players the minute you're unbanned?

    We could make ATM kiosks that trade something fairly similar in value for $spudcoins. Accept a redstone block/dust, gold nugget, or whatever is similarly valued for a $spudcoin.

    I find it hard to believe that "what's up?" in Tamil translates to that, especially since it uses non-Roman characters. Nonetheless, "yo whaz up u niga" is obviously an American English idiom. As someone who has been playing on these servers for "more than two years" should know, we take a dim view of that sort of thing here, and have a very clear rule about it.

     

    Ban is set for two weeks. Please re-appeal on or after March 6th, stating the rule that you broke. In the mean time, read this and this.

    remember, higher volume = lower pirce. lower volume = higher price. so if (what im guessing is) having massive spudcoin pools will bring the price waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay low. 

     

    But I'd have a larger percentage of the overall pool of spudcoins. Lower value, but more buying power. ;)

    Is this planned for the current rev, or the next?

     

    Either way, you could look at making red-stone shops using hoppers to accept $pudcoins, filter out other items, sense $pudcoins going through and put out the requested item, ect ect. Just having something like that to play with might make people more interested.

    Of course, you'll need to offer items that people actually want enough to pay for, which...isn't much besides diamonds and clay at the moment as far as I've seen.

     

    Hmm...you could detect poison potatoes, but I don't know if you can detect that it has been renamed? I've made some redstone player shops on P (be sure to visit Redwallmart and Redwall_hp's Artisanal Brews. :D) but I'm not aware of a way to handle that...
