I think that's been in the vanilla game for nearly two years. Attacking towns is impossible to define, and there's too much lighting in some areas.
Small hoards will attack anywhere defined as a village yes, but only 1-5 of them will spawn. I believe ramping spawn rates makes lighting ineffective, such as the zombie event (rev 12?) Also, if rates where increased, they would attack cities or settlements simply because the chunks are loaded.

Jchance is no ordinary human being. He was not born, for he became.
Many wonder how the jchance came of this earth, some say it was the use of baby powder to relieve the pain of zanes leaving of one direction. Others say that the french scientists in charge of the LHC dropped a coin into the collider, causing a wormhole to a different dimension.
Many theories stem from the enigmatic arrival of Jchance. The idea behind it is too complex for a being of human intelligence.
I have spent many years trying to figure it out.....

Secondly, I'd like to start up Player-Run-Events. While I have only been a EAdmin for a few days I can already see the work piling up. That's not a bad thing and I love to do it, but I am only one person. One person with ideas and the ability to run events. I want players to be able to hold their own events, and give out their own prizes. Somewhat like Spleef Club, but have it be official and announced on the servers with possible admin assistance. The details for this I am still working on and I can't promise that this will become a reality, but it is one of the things I would like to push for.
Would you have people build the event areas on C.nerd.nu or a planning server, and then submit it for approval? Or would it be a system of players submitting an idea to the admins, then getting approval to work on the E server to build?
