Well guess I'll be honest. Having been in the Navy and having been on a drug combat surface vessel boarding team. I have seen my friends shot and killed and have shot drug runners. That's pretty much going to be the worst thing I have seen.

Only completely new players, hence why we removed it from the beginning of the revision (it would have meant a nice cosy first hour of the rev for everyone, otherwise).

There's already a message in the [server] rotation, and i've been meaning to add a sign at spawn when I have the chance. I'll be updating some of the signs in spawn within the next couple of days for when we bring back on the first-join protection from PvPTimer, so it's on my to-do list.
Goodie! Now, for the first join PvP timer, will that apply to all players once it's added, or only players that are completely new?

I understand. I still think there should be a cutoff of claim depending on how long someone has been logged off, but it's not my server.
I wouldn't put this into S or P or C. Perhaps if a new server was created (HIGHLY UNLIKELY) this rule would be appropriate for it, if the rules were different on said server and such things were appropriated due to the theme.

Chill the fuck out. The new S rev just started - everyone's chillbanging there for a bit. Then, after a month or so; PvE will be back to normal. You can be assured that all the PvE players on S will flock back to P when the new P rev starts.

What has been the worst mistake you've ever made on the server?
There's so many. But out of the past month I'd say going into a PvP war on Orange (Survival) and falling into a pit with my Prot IV armor and godsword.

When did you join the nerd.nu servers?
This is a tough one. I first joined sometime in 2010, but only for about a week as I completely forgot about the servers pretty fast. There was a huge 3 year gap until I heard about the servers on reddit. I joined, you know what happens next, and I eventually realized that these were the servers that I forgot. Some people say that I'm an older player than most players, but with not as much time.

If everyone at MCPublic based decisions off what they hear about, then S wouldn't exist, we'd have to turn C into a daycare center and PvE would need more rainbows and sprinkles.
PvE Would need to become a family discussion room for discussions on what shape a 3 year old should shit.

Uh, I'm not sure to be honest.
My mother only knows how to use Word 2003, whereas my father only knows how to use the clock app on his iPhone. But if forced to play it, I think my father would win.

I can't speak with too much experience, as the only time I really vote for a server, it's for the four diamonds, $1150 in game cash, and the five levels of xp, not some labour of love.
Either way, it'd be a good way to possibly bring in a few new players, though looking at the kind of servers that use votifier, most, if not all are faction servers, hunger games servers, servers with economy and MCMMO. Is this a place where nerd.nu will be noticed?
Votifier is for big servers who can afford the advertising space because they know it's gonna pay off for them in the long run. Nerd is not one of those servers, for good or bad. The people who are looking on sites that use votifier are not the kind of people we want to advertise to, simply because they're not going to be interested in what we've got to offer.
An alternative would be good, other ways of advertising that are more friendly and accessible to smaller servers such as nerd. If such an alternative exists :P
As for rewards, I can't see many people voting without some incentive. I agree it shouldn't be something ridiculously op, like four diamonds or something. XP levels are good, as they're already easy enough to get in game, without forcing a gap between players who vote, and those who don't. Perhaps a sort of flair on the forums/sub for those who vote daily or something? Hypothetically speaking, ofc.
Yes, I agree with this. Diamonds should be completely crossed off, in my opinion. Perhaps a few gold ingots and a few XP levels would be appropriate.

My friend, that is a long story. But to shorten it, I shall just simply state that once, all of Humanity had the powers of Eeibble - the First Dribbler. The power allowed utter joy, peace of mind and much more to all humans. The power came from glands known as the Ancient Glands of Eeibble. But, sure enough, thousands of years later humanity began to forget about the glands of Eeibble, and so could not produce the joy liquid - there were shattered family trees that still had knowledge of the Glands and passed down that information, but each time one attempted to tell the public they were accused of being a madman and so were put into an asylum. Now, I am the last one left. There may be others, but they haven't shown themselves. For now, I must carry on this power for Eeibble. For now, I must be Eeibble.

I'd just recommend to those younger than 20 to just keep marriage-related relationships (ie: girlfriends) out of their lives. That form of love is useless and damaging at young ages. It's rare for one to marry and die with a girl/boy they find in highschool. Love comes naturally around 20.
I've realized that I have complete will over what I am.
When I was 8 years old, I wished for strength to deal with my troubles at school. My wish was granted.
When I was 14, I wished for wisdom. Some shocking events happened that year, forcing me to realize the values of life, and the reason why some men find happiness in simple things.
Last year I wished for happiness. And alas, nerd.nu was found.
I don't believe that supernatural/religious forces granted these wishes, it was me. I concentrated on each of these as a goal.
I'd mainly state that humans have complete power over themselves, not their surroundings. I know that's been said hundreds of times through the courses of history, but it's as true as philosophy gets.
