since arriving on c.nerd.nu tonight, use of the trace command to find out about player bans has been throwing the error "you need permission to run that command" I can still /trace however the part about notes and bans is indeed non-functional again I post this here because I didn't find it appropriate for the PUBLIC bug forum, do as you wish with the post however.

Stations will vary, some will be extravagant, while others will be tiny, when I say subway stations, i dont mean the fact that they go underground, some regular stations will too, but when i say subway station, i mean its just a roofed staircase down to a platform. So station size really does depend on theme/location. As for scale, the cta used to follow rule of 4's 4 blocks tall, 4 blocks to the middle, 4 blocks between posts, 8 between beams, but its quite outdated... we will be making sample tunnel and above ground demos inside the testing facility on c soon.

Indeed Trekman, we would always stylize special cta stations in the past, we will continue that now. However we need to remember a proper scale to work with for tunnels, doors, stairways, etc. We wouldn't want a tiny Union Station yet a large subway entrance station

I confirm that this is indeed happening... But its not entirely exclusive to C, I've experienced the same type of crash on s as well, and i'd assume its no different for pve.

Gmman, please keep in mind these are the base routes, the cardinal routes almost never turned to begin with, the loops can have some variation, but tend to remain at approximately a specific distance from spawn (however i am up for doing gradual curves on the loops. I'd also like to make note, these are the guaranteed lines, we will have lines that do not follow this pattern interconnected variously(not just straight lines or boxes). As for the station, we can totally do some IRL stations, if you were not already aware, the Reddit Railroad spawn station (built by Magnyus and myself) is based off of chicago's Union Station. We will totally can do that, just mark a station to create, or set aside land to build a station, elsewhere on a non cardinal/loop line. As for station positioning, other than the interchange stations, we will only be building stations where people ask/have built so there wont be too much wasteful station building.

In the past we have allowed many sub connecting lines, and of course the CTA is known for buying out other railroads, we will have more than a few imperfect lines as time progresses these are just the set-in-stone lines that the cta always would make happen to some extent the lightblue line is the skyline by the way, and it will not be built until the admins confirm that the map is at full size. the loop lines always have a tendency to migrate from below to above ground, so expect that to occur.

Alright this has gone on long enough, we NEED to have a full CTA comeback. One that people can build together and make it into a fun and well made rail system that brings back the true spirit of building on C. From the moment I arrived on the server I received several warnings that you were destroying blocks faster than the server permits. I observed you completely destroying at least 12 separate builds from various places on the map. A block edit log shows that since joining the server you've only created 558 grass blocks which I watched you place, other than that, you've had nothing but destructive edits. Regardless if it was your land, or your building, the rules clearly state "No griefing, including but not limited to: destroying blocks placed by other players" The rules also state that you should place a modreq to have grief removed from your builds. Do you have any justifications of your actions that you wish to bring up?

terrain- regular map, but add nether biomes, volcanoes, mountains, etc. and trees MORE TREES! spawn- Open and welcoming, no below ground maze. Spawn should be easy to exit, and display every bit of information a player needs (rules, commands, blocks, etc) AS WELL AS a rule book CTA- spawn station not prebuilt, but for sure preplanned, with a leader. Tonight it was brought to my attention by Eehee2000 that the "/give" command is still accessible to not only moderators, but also to common players. He informed me that earlier today someone was spawning items into his inventory. He got curious and looked into just what they did to access the command because if you type "/give" you get an error, however if you type the FULL syntax "/give [username] [item id] [quantity] " it does not give the error and instead works entirely as the command would be expected. I was around the last time this command was allowed, back during rev 12, it was a mess for players especially during the times of item spawning flightless creative. I'd also like to make note that about 3 months back, a hacker mass used this command on me, they were banned, however it tells me that the command indeed existed in a client mod, and clearly could be the next means of attacking the server and disgruntling players on the server. I suggest that we fix the problems associated with the command before things turn ugly. I did not post it in the technical problems section to avoid abuse. If need be, please check the logs to see who initially did this to Eehee, as he cannot remember their username.
