  1. Thats the plan, 4 hubs in areas on the map, large lakes to turn etc. Towns connected to the canals would make lakes under there towns as well.

  4. Testing and trial runs of the Rose City canal to P80 have prompted me to start making a 2 lane version of the canal system. This should ease the burden crashing into each other and breaking boats. (because people like tyran cant operate in large spaces :P)

  8. I suppose your right, I'm not a fan of ranks maybe that's a bad call. Even if a player griefed using world edit on his/her plot, couldn't an admin just make all the blocks air? It's a solution to the inability to roll back some types ofWorld Edit

  11. Actually, placing water next to a flowing source flows the newly placed water. I was able to fill a canal about 100 long in like 40 seconds! The water is the fastest part!
  12. Mantinians will be working with rose city on this one, as some of you can see by our towns, we are working with a very hardworking labor force. I'm sure that they will help see this project done.

  16. In agree 100%, My plan would to be mark out routes early rev to prevent people from building there, most likely long range cardinal directions. This project would make travel easy if we can get past the challenge of helpers.
  17. Creative this rev, in my mind, had some issues with the map. Although spawn was great, I was not a huge fan of the plots, sure they kept the trash from spawn but its better to have players who are good builders to take up that land instead. Secondly, the mountains where great but the rest of the map was flat and boring. Heres how I would have it, 4 corners of the map.   20. Heres how we solve creatives issue! we have a day where all the servers direct you to C for fun activitys and such! (community made games and entertainment I should add)
  21. I find that the reason more P players are picked over C players for a moderator role is because people on P only know people on P well. It makes perfect sence really, PVE players are always interacting with each other, so when mod voting comes around, they will pick people they know. Why would someone on PVE pick a C player who they have hardly (if ever) talked to? They wouldn't. My solution to this would be to have people from C vote for C mods, people from P vote for P mods, and S people vote for S mods. I consider myself a player of all servers, so where would I be listed? Maybe by the amount of time spent on a server would be my best guess to how the staff would go about that. There is hardly any server to server exposure, sure events like CTF bring us all together, but CTF doesn't happen that often. To be honest we can all agree that server to server mingling isn't as good as it should be, I think having more community events (some made by players) would help bind that gap, and in turn, solve this issue.
  22. What about not having the portals until later in the rev? Have only one portal at spawn. This allows people to get materials etc. Hold off on giving portals to towns because people would focus on their towns rather then the nether, as towns will become more and more developed. After a few weeks, take a pole or look at well developed citys and there locations. Find the most developed places in good areas and give them a portal. Developing a town is not an easy task, a well developed town shows that enough dedication and effort was put into this town and they deserve a portal.
  23. Dumbo52, we know him as that big purple elephant with the scary ass eyes. In dambis honor, i along with letsB, char, and a few others, shall construct a giant dumbo head in the sky as soon as the next rev begins on C. Inside the head we will have dumbo refrences all over, and only half of them state "meh". If you have ideas or wanna join in, heres where you post.
