Well, we have arrows, we have fire charges, lets get some fireworks on the go shall we? As far as im aware firework explosions cancel each other out to reduce lag and i don't really see any harm in adding them. Some creative player firework shows would be pretty awesome and could even help show off the server to people from P or S coming to the event. If fireworks where implemented, could a command be made that would make spawning fireworks in a possibility? In normal creative they need to be crafted. A command such as /firework RBO (red blue and orange mix) Firecharge/feather/goldnugget/head 64 (stack of red blue and orange fireworks with a modifier. A useful command such as that would sure make life easier.

While i like the ability to show support if you agree with the idea, mass down votes happen far to often. Speaking from experience its not to fun having a group of people down voting everything you have ever posted. Maybe have up votes only and down votes disabled? In recent posts i have read, it seems that the up vote/down vote scale is just one group of players down voting and an opposite group up voting. Most of us are here for a forums, not a team battle.

Ask for a vote up on the forums then, its not telling players on the server to do it, but most of our users read this forum. Good work slide!

I like the idea, but I see one main issue. In servers with mini games most people don't stay on for a long time. While the player count would be larger, none of them would stay, more would come, more would leave. So while it potentially can bring in players, I doubt most will stay and create a community rather then people on a server.

From what i have witnessed, sometimes its way to strict and sometimes its way to lenient....all at the wrong times it seems. Im interested in what would be done to repeat offenders and when is the time to fully punish them. For example, if someone is banned for a long time such as a year or 44 weeks, why would we have any reason to believe they are going to come back and not do anything, i feel like its just more time to fester and not really learn. An idea for bans could be a strikes system, like if you banned for 8 times in 5 revs (as an example) you would be permabanned. Also, i have seen some people who get preminently banned just appeal the next year and get to come back, how is that supposed to encourage following the rules if you could just appeal even when perminatly banned? Edit: decided against making appeals private. I feel that if you banned, you deserve no less, if you dont want to be shamed by it.... THEN DONT DO IT!

Yes, using myself as an example i lost about the equivalent 20 diamond blocks of well enchanted gear that i have been working for all rev (and got spawn camped in my spawn area and died 56 times and had to get kitcat to help). Now imagine people in iron armor with less wealth...

Yea, but normally 1 creeper blows up your safe... but try 30 charged ones. Its a pain in the ass is what it is.

The event on P is a little bit too much. If it is at all possible please disable items being destroyed in explosions and take mesures to prevent them from multiplying through walls. Also, try and reduce the multiplication. The reason I feel like these are valid requests is because I died about 55 times yesterday as creepers came through the floor into the room with my bed and also people helping me including myself lost A LOT of good diamond gear we have been working for. If someone who wasn't well armed like we where was going around they would loose all their items, and as a result, probably leave the servers. So if the techs can, at least disable item destruction, it would make the event WAY better.

I dont think the 7ish "P players" are going to steal all of C...the maps are the same size and the 30 people on P still have lots of room to move around.

As someone who has played C for a long time, i can accurately say this: If you create any kind of plot system, it will confuse the hell out of people, and in some cases, make people instantly leave the server. For example, someone logs on looking for the open build creative server they have been told C was, and the first thing that person sees is plots. 80% of players would just log off at that point, not bothered to fly around or modreq a plot. Its way easier to fly or use /randlock to find a flat piece of land and build away.

If someone logs in with an alt when they are banned, it shouldnt be an INSTANT permaban, just a normal ban for both accounts. However if this person logs in with 20 alts (possibly with bad/taunting names), thats when a permaban should be implemented. The reason for this is if someone is miss-informed or "turns a new leaf" they would be able to use there account for intended uses like grinders and afk farms.

Modded servers...people wonder where a lot of the players on nerd have been disappearing off too and as it is evident in tons of other servers, it seems they all rush to mod pack servers. It would be cool to have some sort of modded server where the community could expand and retain players who like a different style gameplay to others. Of course, and im sure a staff member could attest to this, we would need mods/admins familiar with modpacks to make sure that things would run smoothly.

This has been said before and can easily be implemented in coming revisions, world edit plots. Small plots that could allow for world edit would bring a lot of new possibilities to creative building and could have the potential to attract players because it is not widely used on creative servers. Take the lobby contest as an example, regulated plots obtained via modreq where world guards would prevent world edit beyond your plot area. It could be one of the many ways to make C.nerd.nu unique to rival creative servers.

As for moderating a clanchat like this I have little to know clue how a staff member could understand any of it. Maybe have some sort of plugin that translates the mods chat to English? (If that's possible I'm sure a tech could get one on the go)EDIT: that want supposed to be a quote, my phone is no friend to fat fingers...

I think the solution is already available to us at the current time. If they want to speak a diffrent language to communicate to people of the same language they could simply make or be put into clanchat. It allows them to communicate and people in general don't get confused on what they are saying.

Personally i think global should remain english for reasons already mentioned, but if certain people speak another language and thats easier or they dont know english, they could quite easly make a clanchat for them to communicate.

Ok, something is clearly wrong here. Only a few revs ago we where averaging about 150+ players everyday through out the entire rev. PVE has gotten very popular but most of the people who would consider themselves C players have all left nerd.nu in general for various reasons. Today C is at about 8 players at the most every day, clearly something has to change. Anyone have any ideas on how to get back to the glory days?
