  1. After looking up the name WhiteWolf, I found some YouTube videos with the player associated with it. I couldn't find anything associated with the player timmyton123, other than this forum post showing up in google. Nothing out of the ordinary there, they just appear to be some regular minecraft players. I also tried to do a MCBouncer lookup, oddly enough both returned a login amount of 0. I find that quite strange since they have both apparently played on C. I also did a fishbans lookup, just to be sure of things, and strangely enough, I got an account not premium error on both. Nothing on mcbans either.

I have no idea about all of this, i'm pretty sure someone could go around various griefing group websites and look it up there also, but I didn't bother.

  2. I may be crazy, but I thought I saw the moon cycle through multiple (perhaps all) phases each night. If so, this likely affects slime spawning in swamps, as there is never an entire night with a full moon.

This might be a plugin, like ProperTime, but I have no idea, a tech admin would have to look into this

  3.

    O_O

Who was angry? Who was arguing?

How has this gone "too far"?

I personally don't see an apology and discussion as things going "too far", I see it as a step in the right direction to getting peoples concerns sorted out.

In fact, your post is the only post I've felt is overly aggressive and rude so far.

I am just hopeful that this will come to an end, I know this thread is for JohnAdams1735's apology and any other questions on the topic, and that's all I hope it will be.

  4. Plumble is the best one in my opinion, full comment and certificate functionality, It looks exactly like the PC one on a tablet, too. It has so many functions, you'll have everything you need and more. You can also generate certificates too, something that most other mumble apps don't have, and unlike the iOS one, it is 1.2.4

It costs money but they still have the full beta apk downloadable on their site the last time I checked

Edit: oh, the free version of plumble doesn't work right with certificates

  5. I just wish there was some sort of interface to keep track of all the clanchats, I have created several public clanchats on C and it's steadily getting a bit more confusing to keep switching between all of them. Also the ability to omit a channel would be absolutely fantastic, specifically for my #SPAM channel, that way I don't have to kick everyone when I'm sick of it.

I have been wanting a sort of interface like that, too. I might grab ClanChat off the GitHub page and attempt to do it by myself. It can turn into a big headache fast

  6. I have noticed people on PvE who switch into the #trade ClanChat so often, that when someone in #port_aperture for example asks a question, they end up responding in the trade ClanChat forgetting to switch channels afterwards. What I had in mind to attempt to solve this issue is a command like /ctrade [Message] or /cslpeef [Message] which would send a message to those ClanChat's without the need to have to change default channels.

As a permanent solution, to avoid problems with those commands on other servers, we could create a  /ctemp command, for example /ctemp will send a message to a specified ClanChat without changing your default one, like "/ctemp #trade [message here] would send your message to #trade without affecting /c"

  7. Hey, today I was able to fix the ModMode issue by using the precompiled version of nerdbukkit.jar, compiled by Deaygo I think, from here http://build.thezomg.com/job/NerdBukkit/16/

Everything is working so far, the only thing missing is the CH scripts like /drunk, /lsd, /gin and /policehat, all the importaint CH modding commands are there though

  8. I spent the entire day today, finally making a good build of NerdBukkit and all plugins (exact versions) as running on the C server. It's been configured similarly to what you'd expect on the real C server. I would have liked an identical configuration, but of course they aren't available, so I approximated. Please point out which of my configurations are incorrect if you know something I don't.

    Download: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/29365870/nerdbukkit-1.6.2_build.zip

    How to use

Unzip the file linked. Then unzip the rev you want to play as a folder named "world". The folder must be named "world" if you want the default configs to work right. Then open up a command prompt in the folder with the CraftBukkit JAR and type

    java -jar craftbukkit-1.6.2-R1.1-SNAPSHOT

to launch. Then join the server in your client (localhost).

    Making yourself a moderator

In the server console, type the following:

    w world
    u <username_here>
    u setgroup moderators

    Then relog.

    What doesn't work

    • Vanish doesn't work, no matter what I do
    • Default CraftBukkit commands have been disabled. That means no /version, /pl, /ban/kick/unban, etc. I was too lazy to disable individual commands, and the main permission node for CraftBukkit commands don't seem to work as expected.
    • The rule book says "null". That you will have to configure for yourself.
    • No banning features, since MCBouncer requires an API key (so is disabled), and the default CraftBukkit commands don't work. FishChecker does work, though.
    • LogBlock works, but you have to set up your own SQL server first. Check configs for username, password, and database name.
    • I don't know what a stick does if you're a moderator, so that hasn't been bounded to anything.
    • Clay and wool kits are missing, along with various CommandHelper commands, since they aren't in the NerdCH repository.
    • ModMode doesn't add "modmode_" to your player name to LogBlock records when you're building in ModMode. Probably a config issue, too.
    • You can't log in properly as an admin. That is a feature. Which also means you will need to set options for NerdSpawn manually. The current one is set for rev. 24.

So yeah, you could say it's a bit overkill, but I enjoy having the same environment to work locally as on the server.

I have been trying to do this for so long, but have failed. Thanks   This is awesome!

  9. Huh? What does this mean? Can't get onto PvE or PvP. Running a Macbook Pro, OSX 10.6.6

MCBouncer, a global ban and auth system is down. All servers that use MCBouncer, including Nerd.Nu are also not joinable. Deaygo is currently away sadly, so it is unknown how long this may last.  Also their website is down, too http://mcbouncer.com/

If you are on, don't log off, you will not be able to get back on as MCBouncer is offline and can't auth you

Status Update: The host and everything MCBouncer is completely down and unreachable.

Deaygo is back on and looking into it

Edit: As of now MCBouncer is back up, it fixed itself on it's own according to Deaygo

  10. When clicking a link  to send me to more forums it doesn't send me to it. When clicking my messenger or notifications box they doesn't come up. When I click to comment on a status it doesn't let me.

    Any help?

P.S If anyone doesn't understand what I'm saying and someone can put it better than me than please do.

It is a problem with the server not being able to respond to your request, it should work again after a little while

  11. 24hrs awake is second nature to me. I'm not sure if I could game for 24hrs unless I was playing TF2 or something though, or some hectic community build on MC (or another CTF).

It would have to be TF2 or another Source game for me to be awake non-stop for all that time, also it would have to be during the weekend, too, so I can get enough sleep for school

  12. Who is the one person that thinks,

This is one of the worst ideas I have ever come across, it's a waste of our bloody time and you guys should go get a life instead of playing video games all day.

But of course, we have summer holidays, work and school. Video games are mostly for leisure time.

Just don't post here if you have anything negative to say next time, please.

Considering Creative's resetting the 24th and PvE's resetting the 27th, we should probably not have a Steam gaming event until at least 3-4 weeks after the revisions start.

I agree, everyone will all be busy at the start of the new revision, so it would be a good idea to hold off on it
  13. Here's what I have to say on this, I stopped playing on P and even building things on C because I thought what's the point, since the rev is ending so soon I probably won't even be able to finish up the project i'm working on. I think a post with approximately how much time we have until the rev ends by a staff member would be more comforting and would bring some people back to the servers, but that's just my opinion. It would also encourage me to start building more things again, also
