Are you using 64 bit Java? If not it will greatly help with minecraft's performance so those entities don't become an issue again. You can get 64 Bit Java here

There is a command that the admins can run that clears all the entities in an area, that might help fix the problem

Bump! Would it be possible to get a tech response?
This just happened to a group of 10 of us or so in PvE and a few nights ago we also had disconnection issues.
I know they were doing DNS changes or something like that, not sure if that was to help with this problem or not

Is the problem still occurring? Way back when this was going, John said slide had made some changes, which could cause the original shifts observed. There is no need to bring this up if it isn't relevant anymore.
Yep, it's no longer relevant anymore, this thread wasn't left for dead, it just wasn't updated. I can also try to find the issue report on GitHub too about this issue and link it here

Oh, This was before LadyCailin completely redid the usage stats with commandhelper. I believe that there is information about this too as a solved issue on NerdBugs also.
This was referring to the old, now completely gone usage stats. LadyCailin's new usage stats system solved this, and it's no longer an issue anymore -
Hello! As we all know, the rev is ending on the 28th of February. So the town of Whiteoak has built a massive underground room for fighting! Also known as Nightoak!
We should be having this event on the 27th of Febrary, sometime in the afternoon/night PST. [between 4pm-12am PST]
So far we have 50+ Doppels and 10 Withers. If you would like to donate diamonds or wither skulls, please contact either SwitchViewz or Rokku117. If you want to bring your own doppel and/or wither, please do so under your own power. Also be ready to place them the same time that everyone else is. Whiteoak is not responsible if you die with any items on you.

If you're looking to see what we have done, head on over to the Whiteoak portal and look for the shape above and just follow the wooden path to a water drop. [the portal room is the one that has netherakk in it, as seen in the picture]
Also! We will be providing free iron armor and swords. If anyone has any spare iron, it would be very much appreciated.
Oh so that's what that room is. Also sorry, I am going to fix the redstone in the iron grinder again, I just need to get some repeaters

I've noticed for the longest time, even before we had the lobby system batches of people would get disconnected at random times, I thought it would go away when we went to the new box and solved those latency issues, but it's still happening, I can see it in chat

I'm assuming it's how the CH script is sending that potion effect that makes you see in the dark to your client, and it might have to be updated

After looking on the carto, it appears the chance of death by WorldBorder to is unlikely, but I do see how someone could die

Teleporting a player to spawn is the last resort for the plugin, and it will only do it if teleporting the player back x blocks will kill the player on all y levels.
That's exactly what's happening, I looked it up and the plugin does do this when it isn't possible at all to teleport the player back. It also can't be disabled in configs from looking at it, as people would be dying unfairly and loosing all their items when it teleports them back to an area of death

I'd love to try and help out, but unfortunately, 99.9% of the commands I'd need to use are blocked for whatever reason.
They block stuff like /version and other things to prevent users from getting server info which could potentially be harmful. We had /plugins unblocked and now it alerts staff members whenever it is ran, but it would be hard to do similar to unblock other commands.

I'm not a staff member but people have been doing it in topics where screenshots are suited. I would assume this is ok as long as the screenshot contains no rule breaking, offensive/innapropiate content

Ok, currently they are 10 up, 4 down. I was thinking 15 up, 5 down. Sounded like a good 3/1 ratio.
Anyone else have thoughts?
This does sound like a really good ratio. However I think that decreasing the time limit between allowed upvotes would be a pretty good idea

I would like to see an increase in upvotes as well. I understand Denevien's point about limiting them to make them mean more, however in some of the longer threads, there are a lot of good opinions I would like to get up to the top. I dont think it would have to be a large increase, but 5 more would be nice.
I have a better idea. Decrease the time limit to a half an hour, instead of 24 hours

I'm fairly certain that is contained in Command Helper, and was causing some lag during mass joins when a server closed. Slide has been working to improve things and hopes to add it back in.
It is CommandHelper. If you run /plugins on lobby, you'll see that they are running the bare minimum for a lobby, to reduce server load. We could also find an alternate solution. Also Event appears to be running outside of /list-all too.

I have been using the command /plot claim. Not sure what the difference between these commands are

This would be so awesome. The only thing is that a techadmin would need to either mass upload a bunch to the server, or upload them one by one as people provide the schematics, which might be time consuming for 1 person to do
