joshuaherman
How about we use event.nerd.nu to host some experimental server mods to attract new players? Maybe a mod pack server or a factions server or maybe just simple server side mods that are completely server side in the new update. These command block mods would merely be pasted in and wouldn't require plugins.
buchanman
+1 Agreed. I've always wanted to try factions, but that is so common these days.. perhaps our own nerd.nu twist? ;D (I'm not sure how command blocks work, so I'm more leaning towards plugins).
Sapphric
I wouldn't mind a CTF server. Though that would probably make it not as fun the times we have the fundraiser events.
WondrLand
Hardcore Deathban?
redwall_hp
Hardcore Deathban? Our ban system is global across the servers, though. So a hardcore deathban would ban you from the other servers. :P
TornadoHorse
Most deathban plugins just listen for players logging in, and kick them with a message telling them how long it'll be until they're unbanned. It doesn't literally "ban" them, and they certainly wouldn't integrate themselves with mcbouncer.
XkinOEC
I've suggested having a modpack server in the past, I think it would be cool to have one setup, perhaps made for our current version of minecraft so we can attach it to our lobby. Switch it up every so often as to what the objective is, maybe one month it could be a faction server with old timey added items and trading interfaces, and the next it could be a creative server with an insane amount of added blocks, red stone controls, microblocks, etc. Use it to test what people like, and maybe at some point enable the favorite as a permanent server.
