Guest Former Staff Posted June 30, 2018 Report Share Posted June 30, 2018 June 30th We just held a padmin team meeting, here are our public meeting notes: Reveal hidden contents Completed Actions: The elytra race event has gone live, with some early tweaks from some of the initial attempts to help ensure the course is more focused on the time trial aspect. We have completed our staff meeting notes preparation ahead of tonight’s staff meeting. The spawn trades for the holiday event are now available at spawn. We have concluded our analysis of the impact of the snapshot server, concluding that a lack of data prevents us from progressing further. Ongoing Actions: Our ongoing event has made slight progress this past week, as we focused on other events and tasks. For the mid rev feedback topic, all of our second wave of responses have been drafted and are being reviewed ready to be published today. The Archaeological Sculpture contest is coming to a close very soon! We have been documenting all submissions and once the closing date passes, we will switch to voting on winners and then notifying / distributing prizes. This will be completed by the following weekend. Once the mid rev feedback topic closes this week, we will be reviewing all feedback from past revisions to date. We have begun planning another event. Intent to run an unofficial spleef for the remainder of this revision is in the works. Our next meeting is for our usual Saturday time, where we will focus a large portion of time on discussing and making decisions for Revision 23. Additionally, here are the suggestion box responses we reviewed this past week: Reveal hidden contents There is a pluggin (forgot its name) but its if you chop the base of the tree and the whole tree falls. I thoght it would be cool to make the server more realistic maybe make a rule where if you make like a mess of blocks or something than you have to clean it up? The cost for the regular elytra has been reduced to just one Essence of Flight. We held a padmin team meeting yesterday, here are our public meeting notes: Reveal hidden contents Completed Actions: The Archaeological Sculpture contest has wrapped with half of the winners claiming their prizes so far! July 4th spawn traders have been and gone. The elytra race event has been concluded, with cheaper base elytra also being made available. All feedback from prior to current revisions has been reviewed by each member of the padmin team. We spent an extensive period of time planning Revision 23. Ongoing Actions: Our larger ongoing event being worked on will be moved to be available for the start of Revision 23. We will be focusing on alternative events for the remainder of this revision. Ongoing Actions: Extensive discussion was had about Revision 23 with various wheels in motion for it. We also reviewed the following suggestions for this past week: Reveal hidden contents Bring back PvE awards! announce sign at spawn that Verifies your Renowned Archaeologist paper ...I mean, legendary I think next revs map should be smaller. Here are our public meeting notes: Reveal hidden contents Ongoing Actions: A plan was discussed for an alternative ending to Revision 22 which we will be running by the Tech Admin team shortly to see if this will not create too much additional work. We have discussed the details for a PSA which we would like to put out shortly, following tech admin approval on the timeline, to provide an update on Revision 22 & 23. Various events to carry us into an extended Revision 22 have been planned - These should require minimal effort to prepare so that we can host them within a reasonable timeframe. Revision 23 was discussed extensively across several individual discussion points. We have adjusted our prior planning and efforts so far to work with our available tasks.
