Here's what I have to say on this, I stopped playing on P and even building things on C because I thought what's the point, since the rev is ending so soon I probably won't even be able to finish up the project i'm working on. I think a post with approximately how much time we have until the rev ends by a staff member would be more comforting and would bring some people back to the servers, but that's just my opinion. It would also encourage me to start building more things again, also

That's awesome, I guess that feature was in there all along :) Getting a full, preset inventory also eliminates the worry of having to organize everything in the right slots for convenience and PvP reasons

Mojang did their best to patch pearl glitching exploits and prevent it, so I don't see that as a problem at all. Unless /spawnme is enabled or beds were to get enabled again, I don't see this as a problem, but then again someone is going to find a way some howAs for pearl glitching it is almost impossible now to glitch through a 1 block wall, and glitching through floors or ceilings is impossible now since 1.5 :/ I have done all these enderpearl tests in Vanilla SinglePlayer and on P.Nerd.Nu as of 1.6.2 I also believe NCP now has more protection against block/ender pearl glitching, too

totemo, just curious, but is there the ability to add enchants to items with EasySigns too?

I know this may sound like a really strange question, as I am not very familiar with ZNC at all, so I could use any IRC client I like with it and it would work ok? Like I could switch between HexChat and AndroIRC without any problems? I'm also assuming no WebChat based IRC client would work with it except mibbit or ChatZilla, if you want to call that web based, more like Browser/Server based. I know that GameSurge's webchat IRC client probably wouldn't work at all, since you can't specify what server you would like it to connect to. Edit: This question is pointless, ANY IRC client would work apparently, GUI clients like IceChat and HexChat, console based clients like IRSSI and WeeChat and even web based clients like mibbit to browser based clients like ChatZilla, and then there are mobile phone clients like androIRC and andIRC, They all will work with no problem at all

I know that the head and tech admins are currently working hard to get CTF all set up and ready, due to how busy staff members are currently and all the stuff that is going on, I wouldn't expect it for a while

Does anyone here happen to know if PAvE is going to happen or not? I keep hearing people talking about it on the subreddit, but haven't heard anything about it happening or not

I do agree that more YouTube videos could be put up, I sometimes record parts of S and C and put them up on YouTube, I can't seem to find any griefing videos of P, only exploration videos and info about the server, so I think that may be good there. I usually just record arena fights, then tag them with things like "mcpublic" "reddit" "minecraft" "servers" "nerdnu" "nerd.nu" "survival" "arena" "PvP" "minecraft" "servers" and more. I am hoping that some of these good videos showing off the interesting part of these servers and how fun it can be to play on them will get mixed in with those grief team videos, and people might just take a look at those videos over the other ones. YouTube seems to be a popular place for most minecraft players, and videos of our servers might just show some interest to them to come on and check these servers out. I usually hold off on complaining about things, but in my opinion, it is a little bit too much, I would have to spend way more time grinding than usual, and don't get me wrong, I do have a lot of patience when it comes to things like this, and after that, I would have to risk getting killed in the middle of it, loosing all my levels (which seems to happen to me a lot). When it comes to things like this, I would rather have vanilla enchantments. It would be as tedious as grinding for awhile and immediately enchanting. I have also heard that the levels for enchanting bows have increased, i'm not sure what is going on there, but i'm just going to disregard that and see for myself once Enchantism gets reenabledI am not trying to make it harder on staff members in any way in this post, I really like Enchantism and hope it stays. I am just stating my own opinion about the required enchanting levels for some items

I have a feeling this is related to that issue, boats are completely unuseable, as soon as you get in one NCP kicks you for flying. It only does this on S, i've been in boats on P and never had this happen to me.

Mumble 1.2.4 has some problems like that, I would just keep trying, try selecting different channels or right click a channel and choose send message If it still dosen't work I can give you a link to mumble 1.2.3

Here's another Survival related post "Add a command to get the rule book back" - I created this thread because I was killed at spawn upon first login, and didn't have a chance to read the rulebook at all, totemo was nice enough to create the /rulebook command. Tharine also explains why we held off on enabling PvPTimer until after the first week of the new revision, overall it may interest several survival players

I agree with what Tharine said about the topic, and I personally think that most of the community here is from Reddit. I know we have people joining because they saw our server on minecraftserverlist.com, but most of the players, from what i've seen on my time playing on S since the new revision and towards the end of temp chaos is that more than half of the new players are all coming from popular minecraft server websites. I really think that totemo and JohnAdams1735 have been working on advertising the servers all over the place. totemo even enabled UDP query, something that I told was banned because it interfered with a major plugin they use. With all the dedication they have put forward to getting the servers well out there and on every possible minecraft server list out there, I think we have advertised enough. We don't need to have someone design a fancy banner and pay $300.00 just to have it shown at the top of a popular minecraft website. It just seems completely unecessary. Nerd.Nu, the MCPublic Reddit minecraft servers are very well known among most of r/Minecraft and among some very avid minecraft players.I really think we have addressed the advertising issue enough already, to the point where it probably won't be an issue in the near future at all.

Edit: - I don't really care what they do with the money, as long as it's going to the servers themselves, I don't want to donate $50.00 and a staff member uses that money to buy themselves a new graphics card or some newly released game. I want all the money i'm donating to these servers to be used on the servers, like to buy a new firewall or pay for some security software for the poor box [not like linux has any]. If they want to spend it on a new forum or get expensive DDOS Mitigation, i won't care, as long as it's helping them, i'll be happyHowever, if they have left over money that they don't need from donations, I won't care if they use it for personal use, or even donate it to people in need, it's a fundraiser event for the server owners after all, I should just be happy that I can even donate to them and help them pay for the server

Thanks Tharine, That is nice to know, I should've checked /alert list before making that post, but it didn't cross my mind at the time Apparently it is set to base it on the firstjoin event, and not whether you have already joined or not

I have a feeling it is caused by No Cheat Plus, There have been some undiscussed changes to NCP on S only that most people haven't really been aware about at all, as seen here https://github.com/NerdNu/NerdBugs/issues/145 These changes seem to affect players inventories and inventory management/modification. totemo said that he will be changing the plugin's configuration back to an old backed up copy, so that might fix it. What Four_Down said might have something to do with it, too. As mentioned, I haven't had this issue on any other minecraft server, including C and P. So this must just be a Survival specific issue
