I'd be for a main "Server Discussion" that was things general to all of MCPublic, then subsections for each of the servers, so many threads related to one server wouldn't bury something for another.

So, we're looking into doing some Ads on Reddit. For those curious, info on reddit ads are here. We plan to target the /r/minecraft and /r/mcservers subreddits with these ads. Now, the reason for this post: We want you to design it! Like we did with the server icon contest, we want everyone to make up some ads (preferably to have each ad represent all three servers). After they are submitted, we will vote on which one is our favorite and run it. If it seems to go well, we may use some runner ups in future ads. We don't have a set end time yet, but I will update this post once a deadline is set. So key info: Must follow all MCPublic rules. Sorry for the delay. This will make a 3 Liter jug of sour mix (which is also margarita mix, just depends if you use tequila/amaretto/etc in it). Start with the Simple Syrup (sugar water): 1 3/4 Cups sugar 1 qt water Dissolve the sugar in the water (works best with hot water). Then add these: 20 oz Lime Juice (fresh squeezed is better than store bought bottles, but both work) 2 oz Lemon Juice (same as above) 4 oz Triple Sec (or Cointreau or any other orange liqueur) Fill with water to 3 Qt mark (hopefully whatever you are putting this in has lines...) And you're done! It is super easy and makes margaritas or anything using this sour mix taste so much better. It won't hold like store bought, because it doesn't have the preservatives, but that makes it better. I got this recipe from the Mexican restaurant I bartend at.

We felt it was necessary to post context, in hopes that the ban reason would truly sink in. You were told in the PMs what rule you were breaking, but given this quote here, it still seems like you are trying to brush this off and not take it seriously. At one point you complained "k your what the fifth person". This does no help to your case, because it shouldn't take that many people telling you that you are violating a rule for you to stop. The involved staff members were pretty lenient to give you that many warnings, so having searched the logs myself, I feel that this ban is fully justified. This was taken way beyond the point of normal S banter. You tried to say that Player A was harassing you in different forms, and if that is so, let us know. Getting back at someone for a wrong they've done puts you just as much in the wrong. I believe you were shown enough leniency in game, so I will not be taking any here. The ban is set at 3 weeks from the original ban date. You are free to reappeal on January 14, 2014.

Carver, We've looked at your past involving the MCPublic servers, and this is what we decided: The original ban was very questionable, since at the time, you had broken no rules on MCPublic, other than being associated with a known griefing group. Actions taken by the "fanboys" of yours (whether they were led by you or not), caused many disruptions to our servers. We feel that the time you have served since the end of the fanboy attacks mostly covers your penalty. This means we will be granting your request to be unbanned on mumble, on the condition that you are willing to have a chat with the Head Admins in mumble when you first join. Access to further services can be requested in the future, and we will take into consideration your actions from this point forward. Please contact us when you are able to get on to mumble. I strongly urge that third party to come to me if they want them removed, but we are currently leaving them due to the reports that we are trying to censor it. I agree it isn't optimal, but we have to play a balance game between making all sides happy

After her original request, we made her be active in the community, so people got to know her again. Then she had to go through mod training again. This is a process we have implemented with the long gone players that she went through, another went through, and two more are starting now.

It was before my time, but at the time, it was common practice to ban those in their videos, and Carver was in one. Regarding this, we've always made announcements for new mods, but I can't recall ever seeing one for a return. In my opinion, they only get the pomp and circumstance for the first time

As long as this is done calmly and maturely, it can remain open. Though, as I said in my last one, we are already discussing it, and can't consider unbanning someone who has not filled out a ban appeal...

The problem with the last thread is that it wasn't being presented maturely. It breaks down to petty grudges and name calling. Ranting and raving in general chat on the servers doesn't help either. We are not trying to keep this "swept under the rug", which is why it was only locked, not deleted. I'm going to take the same action as the last one: - We have heard the request to revisit his ban - This was a topic we were already discussing before the first post, but we will continue discussing it - You're not helping your friend's case by spamming personal attacks in general chat - We won't reach out to banned players to ask them to return, we can only consider unbanning someone who has filed a ban appeal
