The thing is, we have been saying all along that we were waiting until after CTF. On multiple occasions we've stated this, due to not wanting to launch a map, then go down in a week or two for an event. We didn't expect it to take this long for CTF, or we might have reconsidered, but all along we knew it was almost time for CTF. I do think that occasional meetings (like that was mentioned in the last staff event) would be a good idea, I just have not got around to putting this into practice. I'll try to plan one of these soon, so be on the lookout.

I've personally asked all of the head admins, and hey approve of server admins having access. Any server admin is welcome to ask Deaygo for perms for the twitter command in IRC. All tweets will be tagged with who sent the command, so any misuse will be logged.

So it seems Deaygo has had it all along, and that the bot it runs off of is still in IRC. Silly us...So once we get ok from some more headhams, we can get server admins set up with IRC twitter perms.

From his previous posts, it seems to be anything you can specify who you're connecting to. Even mobile works according to him.

I think those are the main questions people would want answered that you haven't already covered. Once I get home and have time to set things up, I'll contact you.

Do I need a different app or program? Or does this use my existing clients?

In the past, I believe it was mostly Lude doing the updates, and it was done from the IRC via a bot. I don't think we have the bot anymore, and not sure who has the login info to do it that way. Also, I think it was only a head admin thing (since it was mainly for server status messages). I think it would be great to have it active, and even if server admins had access via another IRC bot. I know I'd use it to update for server related events. *EDIT* Went ahead and sent a PM to Lude to see if we can retrieve the login info

Well, this next revision will have the chance to expand once the inner part "fills up". I use the quotes because this mayo isn't full by any means. The problem arises when someone mentions a new Rev, everyone Hussy's stops building because they assume any new projects are pointless. The Rev was still doing great until the update and the other servers restarted. Someone mentioned new p Rev (even though admins said we had no plans to restart yet). Then everyone quit playing to wait on a new Rev. So the process we begin during a natural decline had to be rushed since activity just fell instead of a gradual decline. That being said, personally I'm not a fan of a set length restart. Sometimes that hinders organizations like FISA from finishing all their schedule. But, I'm willing to listen to arguments for and against it to see how the community feels and go from there.

Just as to not shoot ourselves in the foot, make sure we do not announce any kind of date/time until every aspect is tested and ready to roll out in full. Don't announce when we're 80 or 90% done, and plan to be done by go time. We've had too many things pop up last minute over the years causing trouble. The only thing we should have left to do before we announce is to remove the whitelist.

I talked with some of the techs, and the answer I got was: $175 initial payment, with $25 every 6 months.

Then, maybe we can get a tech to look into changing where you appear when you come out of the end portal, so that you are still in a PvP area. Right now, you return to spawn, but if portal spawn and death spawn could be separated, that would be better.

Is there a way to get no-log to track entering end portals? I'm not a tech admin for a reason, but I assume there is some kind of event triggered when entering a portal. If it can be tracked, at least there would be a log of someone jumping in shortly after taking a hit.

Currently, the nomination process is private to staff members because if there is a reason that someone shouldn't be staff, and it gets discussed, we don't like airing that out for everyone to see. Though, anyone can send nomination suggestions to any staff member anytime they want. If you'd like, feel free to email admins@nerd.nu with suggestions. We will ask see it and can get it in the next round of nominations. We may not approve them for various reasons, and if we don't add them, we may not say why (again, no need to spread dirt on people). I know I can speak for many of the admins when I say if someone suggests someone, we will honestly consider it, and try to get to know them if they are not someone we play with.

I think he means it was protected, but shouldn't be because of chaos. I know techs planned to test various plugins to be ready for the new Rev.

Terrain like this is actually not common when compared to all P revs, just common in the past few. Some people like the nostalgia feel of the old way. Trust me, it won't be completely vanilla, it will be a fun map.

Just remember, this is a game of blocks. Take time to think of your actions in the future. If someone else is doing something wrong, report it, it is no excuse to do the same back to them. I've played with you for a while now Shanty, and I really do like you, and I know you know better sometimes. I do not want to see you here again. Unbanned, Welcome back.

The only reason I would remove it is that players could remove the enchant on their god weapons or armor because they see they are surrounded by a few players.

I think that is when the new launcher with a 1.6 version running tried to connect to our 1.5.2 servers.
