It is indeed the discussions you had to and about teddylover. You've spent plenty of time on our servers to know that we don't allow harassment of any kind to take place, and even if you did not realize that it was harassment, you should have stopped when a group of other players requested multiple times for the conversation to stop. This was a decision made by all three P Admins after being tipped off about this occurring, and we were not happy to see things like this taking place on our server. We feel that being your first harassment ban, we wouldn't hold previous bans against you (even though you claimed to have read the rules after serving each of those lengths). As such, we are setting your ban length at two weeks from the issued date. Comment back here no earlier than July 17th quoting the rule you broke and we can see about unbanning you then.

I think the thing people keep missing is no one would be required to like the page or anything. We don't give away things for voting or liking pages, so you would only like it if you wanted to. It would be an interesting way for people to post pictures of their bases or cities or whatever, and it would be easy to flip through them all unlike posts on the subreddit.

Sorry for the delay, I was out of town for a bit. The incident that led to this was when the account "James_Rustles" logged into our servers and was asking for the unban of the account "benuk247". When checked, both accounts had connected from the same IP, so it was banned for ban evasion. I do apologize in hindsight for not stating ban evasion in the reason. Now, you say you recently bought this account. Do you know the person you bought it from?

What are we doing? NOTHING! Mwahahaha! But for real, P still has life left and we don't want to cut it short just because of the update. We have no plans regarding when we will update, but we're waiting on 1.6 top build the map since terrain generation is changing. Once we develop an actual timeline, it shall be released to the public

As C45Y said, we're more interested in getting what we have working right. Also per the quote, we are not a server that will have ranks, so anyone will have access to all features of a FTB/Tekkit server even if it is their first time joining. Servers like this have been discussed many times including recently, but it is just not feasible right now.

Well, moderators can see it in game, so seeing out of game makes sense. Only thing is, you run a chance of the link getting leaked to the playerbase. Which, if info on modreqs is going to get out, it will with or without a link. On the subject of a google docs for old modreqs, could be useful for referring back to. It isn't as much problem for us, because we don't get as many reqs daily. It isn't long, but TL;DR: Both are good.

From what I hear, there is a daily limit on voting here, so you can't just go through and downvote an entire thread like on reddit. I'm quite apathetic to it in the long run.

If it is something that can be considered homophobic or racist, I immediately remove the player from the game. From past instances, muting and messaging them end up with them going "ok yeah, i whatever", and usually end up banned for it later. If players have to go through the appeal process (which I usually unban for right away, after they quote me the rule), I know they fully understand their wrongdoing and it won't happen again. Too many players try to blame it on "not knowing", but we put the rules at spawn, we have them all listed on an easy to find site (nerd.nu/rules). There are players who have been here for years who have never been banned. It really is not that hard to not get banned.

This would make it so region owners (mayors) could open up their region for anyone to build it. Ideally, this would be good for farms or spleef arenas. That way, people could only play spleef and break the field with permission, but wouldn't have to add everyone to the region, just set the flag to build allow. Also, digging for a project could be opened up to anyone willing to help, then shut it down once help is no longer needed.

As Nolan said, since there is no threat of being killed by other players, the threat must come from the environment (i.e. landscape and mobs). We strive to give the playerbase a beautiful, yet dangerous landscape to cultivate into the wondrous things you see. Can't make it too easy for you...

In cases like this, we choose to remove the player and handle the discussion here to be sure things are handled properly. We strive to be a community that accepts all types and lifestyles. We choose to remove players because some may not be willing to stop that sort of chat and we don't want people to feel unwelcome. We did not intend to make you feel we were being extra harsh for any reason, this is a typical response for this situation. I hope the rest of your time on our servers is enjoyable and we do not see you in this section again. As Barlimore did, I'm leaving this open because I believe you still have an unanswered question.
