We have discussed this before and have no intentions of implementing it.

The poll is only for this thread in AC, and I only made it because it can be hard to get people to comment on threads like this. I don't think anything useful would come from a public poll.

The pubic thread seems to have run its course, so I would like to see a decision made about this sometime soon. I have created a poll to help move things along, but please feel free to still discuss this below if you would like.

Hello everyone, After many weeks of discussion, we have come up with a list of possible mods. Everyone on this list has been contacted and asked if they would like to be included in this vote. A few things to keep mind before you vote: "Yes" means "I am supporting this person, and want to see this person as a moderator." "No" means ""I don't think this person should be a moderator." "Don't know well enough" means "I don't know this person well enough to make a decision." The results are public, so anyone will be able to see who you voted for. As always, if anyone has any concerns about anyone on this list please contact myself (Mrloud15) or another headadmin (thrawn21, Dumbo52, Draykhar, Cyotie911). Voting will end in 1 week, August 22nd, and new mods will be announced no later than 1 week, August 29th, after voting has ended.

Sorry for the late reply. Every time I check the poll it seems to change, so I will be closing the poll in about 24 hours. Once the poll is closed we can go from there.

Hello everyone, About a month ago a thread was created regarding our policy on permabanning alt accounts. Dumbo proposed a new policy in this thread (see blow). The admins have been discussing implementing this policy, but we would like to know what you guys think about it first. Here's Dumbo's post from the thread:

Hello ZenithAngel, after looking through your edits I feel that the ban was justified. Please make a new appeal on or after September 4th to be unbanned.

I have always been told that using a macro mod is allowed on S only for moderating purposes. For example, having /modmode, /vanish, etc. bound to a key. If a mod was using it for something other than moderating, proper actions would be taken which is what happened when several players brought the screenshot in your modreq to my attention about a week ago. The staff member was told that using the mod for anything other than moderating purposes was not allowed. This is the same thing that we would have done for any other player.

It's not and we are looking into ways to prevent this from happening in the future. Given the situation I would have freed them, so i don't think you did anything wrong. However, in situations like this I would like to ask that you attempt to contact a sadmin before you do anything. We are almost always on IRC, so next time just give us a ping to see if we are around before you do anything.

Hello everyone, here are a few new changes and some stuff we forgot to include in the detail post. There are 2 ends. One that pearled players are sent to and one that can be accessed by the end portals in the world. Enderman will not drop enderpearls in the ends. Strength II potions are disabled. The world border will be changing from a square to a circle in 24 hours. The radius of the world will be 3600.
