Didn't we try this like 2 revs ago? with player killstreak boosts?

I understand moderators and staff of any type have IRL things to deal with and of course that should obviously come first. Can any *active* head admins or techadmins clarify on what the current requirements are to be considered inactive. I am not entirely sure if Head Admins and tech admins are also immune to the inactive roster but that would be another question.

Couldn't of said it better myself. I know they are a burden but they are usually once a month so picking it back up would be nice

Hello everyone! So this is mostly directed towards the PvE Admins, but I want to make this public for others who are wondering what happened to the annual PvE Mumble Meetings that used to occur? The link that is displayed in game shows this google docs that is almost 7 months ago! Perhaps I have simply missed the announcement that we were stopping these type of reoccurring meetings but myself and others would appreciate some feedback! Thank you!

I will pitch a new idea of after X amount of time on the inactive page, for example "Human" was last seen if I remember a discussion I had with travismaybe correctly, he claims human was last seen rev 5 of PvE. So clearly, the odds of him returning are not favourable. A time limit to in a way, sort out and shorten the list of "inactive" mods who are truly gone. If they were to return then just treat it the same as if they were inactive?

Hello Lolopard, This ban is very old and the staff member who banned you is no longer a member of our staff, so with that said please read the rules and reply here stating the rules you broke to be unbanned.

So recently some old ban appeals have come up for certain members of the staff who are still listed as active according to www.nerd.nu/staff so I am inquiring as to who updates the actual staff page and what the requirements are to be listed as inactive. One example is "Darkskynet" who to the best of my memory has not been seen since rev 11 on PvE. Thanks everyone. Edit 1: I believe this was discussed in the old archives before but it should get a reboot to state if we are still putting staff into inactive after so long if they have only been on IRC in bouncer mode for years.

I like the group photo idea and the nerd main page could use a refresher. So I would say planning planning planning would be the key to having so many players and perhaps using some of C's amazing builds for background?

You guys need to all head up with the Cadmins to get possibly some events or other opportunities going. I've wanted to see something like the build contests come back.

Eehee in all the years I've been here I've only seen this rift once and that is when you were creating it like you said. I think we honestly have more pressing issues to attend to. This rift idea is silly and I find it is 95% gone aside from those who wish to again always bring it up. I see so many S players often join P and when I join S often, I don't find P players because the rev is ending. Other than the bad timing the rev starting would see a spike in even P players. Edit: didn't see Barney's post, but essentially summed up also what I was saying.

This is rather harsh. Simply because they are younger and speaking a different language does not mean you can just kick them out. If I personally joined another server, I would not care if they spoke another language. I would put yourself in their position and come to realize they have every much a right to play on these servers as you and that we will not simply remove them or mute them from the servers because they enjoy playing with their friends. An ignore command would be the best solution if it really needs to come to that.

Okay. I would like to offer you the general rule of thumb that I find keeps most players out of trouble, is that if you did not place the blocks, ask someone before editing. You are now unbanned.

Hello again, I am sorry for the delay. I banned you after I encountered a sizable amount of grief in Rose City's main building including, but not limited to, grief of lava, water, clay, glass and some doors I believe. The screenshot below gives a picture of the rolled back grief, but logblock clearly shows it was you. If you do not understand what griefing is, you should ask. Griefing is the destruction or editing of another players blocks or builds. With that said I would set the ban length for 2 days, but seeing as how that has passed I will unban you as soon as you read the rules and reply here stating the rule that you broke.

Hello Dr Loud, Just suggestions of a more rigorous training of logblock kill logging. I didn't know how to pull up commands until about 2 weeks into moderating, so hopefully that won't be skipped over anymore.
