Hello all, we're going to be moving forward with a number of permission changes upon our services and reflected on the staff page over the next few days and will be contacting each individual to keep them informed of this change. Data for this was gathered from August 1st - September 31st. That is the nature of building on a server with other people, we can't really tell people what to build or how to build it. What one person finds unpleasant another may think looks perfect.

Heysofia and SirLyle have been have been added as moderators and trained by head admins. Server admin training will follow.

We'll have to spell out the ground rules before hand to make sure people aren't talking over one another. If it can be kept civil it will be easy, if people start cutting each other off we may have to move to a "raise your hand to be unmuted" system.

Hey everyone, it's that time again where we hold a nerd.nu community meeting! Right now the meeting is schedule for Saturday October 8th at 6pm EDT. This seems to be the time when the most people are around. We'll be using mumble (you can download mumble here, and connect to mumble.nerd.nu, when it asks for a port use 6162). If there is anything specifically you would like to see discussed, or have questions on, feel free to post below or PM Sir_Didymus or myself and we'll make sure to add that to the agenda. I would like to keep the meeting to an hour if possible, so if we aren't able to get to all topics during that time we'll take them down and follow up afterwards with answers in this post. I'm not sure what this means? from the POV of someone asking for a test world - i personally don't want to litter build experiments and testing and planning stuff out in the c overworld, it's messy and i dont like it. So i switch to SP to map things out, which means the people i build with can't participate. some places (*cough*rose*cough*) have a test server set up, but i am not that lucky to have one. They do have the redstone playground for redstone experiments, but that doesn't quite cover the "lets test out wall designs and road set ups, or how to build a farm" bits.

Mumberthrac has rejoined the moderating team, his permissions have been set accordingly.

Update: The <blank> portal can be used for the Minigames (M) server if you'd like to incorporate that into your build.
