[AC] Server Description

Hello everyone, 

 

We would like for the server admins to write up a little description of your server so we can start actively advertising on /r/mcservers. The heads will be taking care of making the posts and all that fun stuff, so the only extra work for you guys after a description is written would be to keep the description updated.

 

If anyone has any issues with this, please feel free to contact one of the heads.

Also, Avada (who is mod on /r/mcservers and will approve our posts) has offered to write descriptions for any nerd server if we like.  He might be a good resource to give you your starting place, even if you edit what he gives you.   He'll at least give you the right format to be approved in the subreddit.

Get your dukes up at our Survival PvP (s.nerd.nu) server! This is a free-to-use public server with no white-lists, no ranks, no pay-to-win, or no pay-for-perks. The server is set up as a nearly completely PvP-enabled map. The only areas that exist where PvP is disabled are the starting spawn area, and particular sections of the server's official arena. Everywhere else, players may freely kill one another. Join our econ system by playing the lottery, placing a bounty, or getting some awesome perks for your your beacon.  Some play for the PvP, while others just enjoy the potential danger brought on by building in such a hostile environment without ever actually starting a fight, and we welcome anyone who chooses to play either way.

 

 

We will elaborate on this further once more things are announced and the website overhaul is complete.  :D

Just to bump this, we (and by 'we' I prod Switch and/or anyone desiring to) need to add a blurb about the CTF event / donation drive, and then it will be ready for posting a day or so before the drive starts on /r/mcservers for optimal timing. After that, I'll repost it per the rules of that subreddit every two weeks, editing the content of the event server stuff as appropriate.
