Blockbuster
MOVED TO https://redd.it/4vyfg7 LAST UPDATED 6/30/16 A few people have asked me what Mods I play with and how to get them and explaining them is usually a pain in the A$$ because some of them are not easily obtainable or you have to go through a bunch of hoops to download them and even then you might not even be downloading what you think you are downloading. Therefore, I have decided to turn my ModPack into a Technic Modpack so that I can share it with the community. Below is a list of what is in the Modpack along with how to install it. If you have any questions or suggestions on mods that should be added please feel free to let me know via commenting on this post. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ HOW TO INSTALL 1. Go to http://www.technicpack.net/download and click on the appropriate version for you (Windows, OSX, LINUX) 2. Install TechnicLauncer and Run it 3. Enter your username and password 4. Click on MODPACKS 5. Copy and paste this address in the "Add Pack or Search" bar and then click INSTALL http://api.technicpack.net/modpack/blockbusters-nerdpack 6. It will then Download and Install the Modpack, once that is done click PLAY 7. Minecraft will load along with the mods and then you are good to go MOD OVERVIEW For those of you that may not be familiar with these or any mods i wrote a nice little overview of each on to help you out Mods Included as of 6/30/16 Check updated Versions for Updated Mod ListsBUILT ON FORGE 12.16.1.1938 core mods cores LiteLoader Lunatrius Core MnM-Utils removed 6/30/16 CodeChicken Core removed 6/30/16 mods Optifine Macro / Keybind Mod Schematica TabbyChat removed 6/30/16 Zyins HUD removed 6/30/16 Inventory Tweaks readded 6/30/16 thanks to DRMTV Kabo Village Marker removed 6/30/16 Voxel Map Wordedit CUI Pop Enchant Tags Chunk Borders removed 6/30/16 Watson removed 6/30/16 Watson Macros removed 6/30/16 Dynmap removed 6/30/16 InGameInfo Not Enough Items removed 6/30/16 Chat Bubbles added 6/30/16 Armor Hud added 6/30/16 Laser Level added 6/30/16 thanks to DRMTV Matmos added 6/30/16To use Matmos you need to go to Resource Packs and add the MSI_Conversion.zip If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Mumberthrax
60+ views and no love Probably because most people who clicked thought it was about a modded server thing, like with new blocks and items or biomes (like chisel, biomes o plenty, natura, etc.) only to discover its about boring client mods. :P Nice pack though. Thank you for taking the time to put it together and for sharing it here. : ]

tobylane
The villager thing doesn't work correctly on multiplayer and never has since the SP>MP thing about two years ago. I did run with this sort of mod set for a while, before simplifying it because the new launcher is annoying. I used to have mods like BetterSprinting, Autofish, Damage Indicators, Paine in the Glass and Schematica. Now it's just Optifine, Pop enchant tags, WECUI/worldeditwrapper and Voxelmap,

tobylane
Sorry by correctly I mean I was told it guesses. With something like an iron farm there's only four possible blocks the centre can be, so it guesses well. With a village the centre can be over more coords,
ScaryBilbo
I do like this. Its a nice alternative than messing around with magic launcher or something like that. And its not complicated to use. 9/10 + 1 for effort

jchance
I would really like to see this mod added http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1282892-gammabright-advanced-brightness-fullbright-mod-200 I find it super helpful when I'm using my laptop with the screen brightness turned down to save battery. I already checked with the Padmins and its allowed on P.

Blockbuster
Any updates need to be done? Haven't been on in a while.
jchance
You know, I bet if you added Watson (and Watson Keybind support) then lots of mods would use this pack since it already has CUI and the macro mod- those 3 are the top client mods that nerd.nu mods install to help with moderation activities. It also adds handy things like highlights for regular players.

iNerd71
So, I've started using this pack. I like it so far, but for some reason items seem to appear darker than normal. Any idea what's causing this?
Weazol
Yes, in the shaders (Options / video settings / shaders) change it from "off" to "internal"
