I like the idea of using a timed jail to punish people, but every time I'm tried muting someone, they've just continued spamming using /me. So, at the very least, /me needs to be disabled for muted players.

Something that would be really cool, but probably prohibitively difficult, would be to get "everybody" in one spot for a mass group photo. I mean, try to get all the old people who don't play anymore to come on, at least for a little while to celebrate the anniversary. Bring back all the old mods who left, etc. That would be amazing to see, though I don't know if one server could even handle it. I doubt we could get "everyone", but as many current and former players at once would be really cool.

I wouldn't mind a CTF server. Though that would probably make it not as fun the times we have the fundraiser events.

Except that in some circumstances, a lot of the people who were around when they were first modded might not even be around anymore, so people will by and large have no idea who these people are.

You can tape your mouse button down with duct tape and do the same thing. One could say the same about any client mod, including Optifine, Rei's, Macro mods, bUpload, etc. By your logic they shouldn't be allowed either because people "might" not be able to figure out how to get them.

I really enjoyed the timed 10-minute build contest on C a while back where we had 10 minutes to build to a theme. I'd love to do one of those again.
