If you don't mind, could I ask your reasoning for such a small time frame? The contest goes until next month, why make the deadline for imports so soon?

Will we not being going with the usual 1 arena per week this time round?

Personally, I feel there are times when it is okay to run, and times when it is not. An example of a reasonable time to run is when you are being 2+v1'd, it is likely that you are going to loose that fight, so it would be stupid to keep fighting imo. If the grind wasn't so annoying to get more armour back, or to repair a set, I think a lot less people would run. EDIT: I've noted this down as something to talk about during the Survival Meeting.

One is automatic and takes you to your plot, the other you need to manually find an empty plot and then claim it.

Claiming land on survival forces you to have the resources to border it up. If it were a forum post you could just say "I claim a plot next to spawn from (0,0) to (500,500) square" And as djt pointed out, not every player that joins the server comes onto the forums, I think it'd be hard for new players to understand they have to come onto a website to claim their land.

I can't answer that question as that's not my opinion, if you take a look at recent threads, you should be able to find it.

I semi-agree with subforums per server, but that has been discussed before and people thought it would separate the community too much. In regards to the land claim section, how exactly would that work? I feel like land claims are often a touchy subject that normally need to be discussed in private between those involved. EDIT: Was typing my comment when Syn posted his so didn't see it until just now.

I think the grief bait rule right now mainly revolves around ore doors and things like that rather than farms. I've never found big farms to be much of a problem in regards to grief bait.

So, would this change mean that someone could stroll into my base and remove all of my food and not replant? If so, that seems a bit silly, people would every quickly burn through their food having to replant all the time.

This topic has been mentioned a bit before. I agree that there should be some sort of cut off point, the time you suggested of 6 months seems sufficient. I'd definitely like to hear see some community discussion on this topic.

Looking good! One request though, rather than the sign being in the high level on spawn, can we put on ground level for those who have their bed set?

I believe this is a follow-on from the meeting where we discussed letting public builds that fit a strict set of rules be protected.

Voted no on the first question because we already have the Survival Arena League (SAL).
